yep, just saw the email myself and was going to post about it. It looks like only one course and the driving range. I hope it includes the practice area of the cloud based system.

I received the email, down loaded and installed the software. Not much information on how to get it going though. No time this morning to play around with getting up and running. A user manual is supplied but only talks about needing a dongle. Which wouldn't apply in this circumstance. I tried the online chat briefly but they steered me to a phone number which I'll call later.

Installed (using SkyTrak with GIP) and got the following error message when trying to play. Driving range did work however...

Just range for me, playing was not an option

You have to contact SkyTrak for them to authorize the course. They have a separate authorization system from ours and have to authorize the demo course from their side. We keep it authorized for 30 days. We have already received support inquiries about this today and our support team is reaching out.

How long will this offer be valid? I recently ordered my computer but am not sure when it will arrive....so can I wait a week or so to start the trial.

Hasn't the E6 been available for trial for at least the past year? I know I've downloaded it and used it.

It has been available in the past, but without the possibility to play a course. Looks like it can't be used again if you already had a 30 trial period .

Love the simulator. All working for me.

just a bummer it costs so much. By the time the exchange rate is done, it will cost me around $320 Australian per year. Too rich for me to warrant that much on a yearly basis. When I still need to pay the yearly fees on the skytrak as well.

i would happily pay a one time fee for maybe 3 courses to play. No driving range etc. and if I want extra courses, then I'd be happy to pay for another course that I can then download.

But it is a great simulator.

How did you get Skytrak to auth your account?

So how does E6 work? Is it £295 a year to maintain and then I assume the add on packages are purchased to keep?

Didn't have to get anything authorised.

I downloaded the e6 trial version. Installed it.

Then once installed, I just started the program and it worked. I've created a login account with e6 for myself and my son and we have played several games on the golf course that comes with the trial as well as hit shots on the driving range and putting green etc.

I've not had any problems with it so far.

Strange. 'play' is greyed out on mine, if I choose event I either get a not authorised error or course not available.
