    Bricked my ST Today!

Fat fingered the SSID when going into network mode. I was trying out the free 30 trial of E6 and the unit would not reset via the pin in the bottom. Chatted with Tech Support which led to calling Big Boy Tech Support, bottom line was send it in we'll fix it under warranty.
And wouldn't you know it, just volunteered to set it up at work for our pre company Golf outing to drum up some "support" from the C-Levels.
Hopefully i'll get it back next week so my play day with the execs goes great.

Anyone have any suggestions when the middle light flashes Yellow and reset goes to all leds off?

    TIA,

    Denny n Dallas

Wow that sucks. The UI for network mode is still pretty messed up and clunky - I avoid it and stay in USB mode always.

My ST did the same thing... one day working and then next it wouldn't connect. Middle light was flashing yellow attempting to connect to router. The unit would not reset with the pin in the small hole trick (all lights are supposed to flash yellow when it resets). It wouldn't connect in wifi, USB or direct mode, couldn't detect the wireless signal from the ST. Customer support couldn't fix it over the phone, so in it went to get serviced. Came back and I got it to accept my SSID, but then it wouldn't connect, in any mode. Long story short, another call to tech support had me check my router, a dual band type. My 5Ghz was fine, but my 2.4Ghz was not connecting to the internet... so unplug, plug back in and it all reset and now the ST connects.

Still don't know why yours wouldn't reset (mine wouldn't while it was trying to connect to the dead router signal) but if anyone else runs into an issue like mine, try resetting your router or at least check to see if the 2.4Ghz is working before you send it in.

Yeah, troubleshooting step #1 with the ST should be to make SURE your 2.4Ghz wireless connection is up and solid. So many wifi routers and ISPs have flaky service.

Well my 2.4 Ghz was working fine. I think we discovered a flaw that even tech support can't resolve. Tech support even tried a backdoor pword encrypted of course it was via remote administration so I couldn't see it when the unit was broadcasting the MAC address and not SkyTrak as the SSID. Didn't work either.
Odd thing was, neither of my laptops would fully load the Drivers when it went into Yellow LED I'd get the USB disconnect Taa Da! then the Da Du that it was re-connected and it wouldn't finish loading. I really hope it gets resolved and is perfect once returned.
