With the latest update the alignment mode is gone so I wanted to know the best way to align my unit.

I can't wait for the alignment dots to get back. I have a large (5'X5') mat, and with the SkyTrak off the mat, I am hitting into the extreme right hand side of my net, unless I angle the SkyTrak to the left. Makes it a pain in the butt figuring out my alignment, but with the laser dots, I just turn them on and place a laser level behind be going across the dots, which makes it easier to figure out my stance.

Just a thought, but statistically speaking there will be a few people for whom the alignment mode was "dead on" but it doesn't seem like a good idea reputationally to promote the feature for the other 98-99% for whom it is slightly out. Loads of them probably aren't members of this forum, and as such haven't seen Seth's advice that you should just use the case instead. If the feature is there, people would be entitled to expect it to work/be accurate... For me, it's visually out by a good 3-4 deg, so I've only tried it the once. I'm much better off just using an alignment stick with the armour case and eyeballing it...

No need to align every shot, so I might be missing the point a little here. I align about 1yd offset, that moves the reticule slightly right and aligns it perfectly with my mat. You either align square to the screen so no offset, or you align square to the screen with offset if you need it? I can align it center, but my OCD prefers if the mat is dead center from the couch that the Mrs has decreed is to be stored behind me as I hit. ...I'm thinking about trading her for one of those epic drivers...
