  • SkyTrak no-show?

Just spoke with my buddy who is down at the Myrtle Beach World Am. SkyTrak was on the exhibitor list but they were a no-show.

    1) This is either a really good sign: Business is so good they don't need to go to the largest gathering of avid amateur golfers that also have at least decent disposable income.
    2) This is some type of bad sign: Business is so bad what is the point in going? or.... They are so disorganized they just somehow screwed up going (having tried to deal with their customer service that could be the case).

Any insights on why they would be a no-show to this event? I am about to pull the trigger on one of these things and don't want to get hitched to a sinking ship.

I find it hard to believe that SkyTrak is in financial trouble. Outside of an OptiShot, (which to me, is a toy), the SkyTrak is the most affordable launch monitor out there, and I would think that they hold a good percentage of the launch monitor market. I'm sure there is a reason they didn't show for the event.
