  • Official v3.0 SkyTrak App Release

    Hey all,

    We have launched the v3.0 app for PC, iOS, and Android. The new app has a new look and feel, but functionality is much the same. There was a lot of work done behind the scenes to pave the way for future enhancements. Hope you enjoy!

      I hope one can help me troubleshoot this issue. My Skytrak has been working fine except for mis reading my driver but I upgraded to 3.0 and now I cant connect at all. I was connecting Via usb. I would plug in and it worked, now I plug in and the middle light is flashing red and stops, No connection. not sure what happened but I would appreciate ant help to get me back up and running. I'm kinda dead in the water right now. Thanks for any help

        I'm surprised to hear there hasn't been any changes to the flight model. I live in Denver and found previously that the readings didn't reflect elevation, even with the elevation setup through settings.

        So far, I like what's been updated. One thing I'd like to see in the future is a practice that's more random without having to manually change. I'd love to be able to give a yardage range (say 50 to 175), a gap amount (say 10-15 yards), number of shots, and then just let the software choose the shot for me. Skytrak makes block practice quite easy, but random practice is a bit more difficult without sim software.

          Thanks for the update! It looks pretty good to me. I like the random practice idea, I think there's something to that. I have 2 ideas about a simple way to approach that...

          - Cycle through random clubs.

          Select what clubs you'd like to work before starting, and then the system makes random selections from that pool.

          - Set a green out at a random distance.

          Then you can hit a number of clubs to get to the green at that yardage. A green placed at 165, then 450, then 319, etc. Recording the number of shots to get on the green would be a nice stat to see.


          Is there an ETA for the club tracking?

              That would be nice. Might be competition for the sim license revenue, but it sure would be a great way to train.

                I mentioned this in another thread, but have you tried deleting the cache folder? Possibly not clearing required files on upgrade.

                Go to C:\Users\[Current User]\App Data\Local Low and delete the SkyTrak folder. Then open the app back up and it should recreate that cache folder.

                  Sorry I was out of town for a couple days but I did get it back up and running but now my TGC will not switch over to left handed. could that be a cache thing too.. in the menu it shows right handed and will not let me change it , like its grayed out.. any suggestions.. thanks ahead of time

                    The new ST PC app has suddenly stopped persisting my login info. I now have to re enter my email and password every time I start up the computer and the ST app. Anyone else having the same problem?

                      Yeah - can't say it happens every time upon running after a reboot but I definitely notice it a lot after a reboot and notice it seems to persist better when I don't reboot. Other observations (although not firm) is that it'll misleadingly request login details when there is no internet (which can easily happen if the PC connects to the SkyTrak's hotspot), and then go on to say the login has failed despite entering correct login details. Can't recall if Android and PC both do it, or which one. There's something amiss as I never find I have to repetitively type in login details anywhere near as much as I do with SkyTrak.

                      I've tested with a fresh install of v3.0.0 on my PC.

                      1) Logged into app with internet connection (checked remember me)
                      2) Disconnected from internet
                      3) Closed and reopened app (no internet) = good, still logged in
                      4) Logged out and logged back in (no internet) = good
                      5) Rebooted computer (no internet) and opened app = good

                      We will still continue to investigate.
