Hey ProTee United have you guys looked into adding stats for the tournaments? Like being able to sort through the leaders in Driving average, fairways hit, GIR, number of putts, proximity to hole etc? IMO it adds a good tool for measuring where you stand compared to everyone who plays in the tourneys and the ability to track those stats over a season of tournies is a great way to see how you do over a period of time.

No to both - JNPG and TGC are windows based products. The only iPAD simulator is WGT. I believe the new e6 connect will work as well, but is 2500.

I just purchased the jnpg to go with my existing skytrak plus tgc. I added it because I was tired of waiting for multi player modes from tgc. Anyhow - I am having trouble configuring a game as a scramble. I am thinking I should be able to set up a 3 team, two man team scramble (team yellow, red and blue). But so far when I get to the Tee the red light is on but no ball hit registration takes place. I'm thinking that either the 3 team, two man scramble is not do-able - can anyone confirm or deny this is feasible? If it is feasible then I'm guessing I have messed up in setting the game up - and I will have to keep working on it. Thanks

I would go into the settings menu and put it on swing meter instead of Simulation. Set the game up the exact same way you did and see if it lets you hit using mouse/keyboard. At least that way you will know if your game setup is right.

I just tried this on mine and it worked fine using the mouse/keyboard. I can try later on the Skytrak and see what happens.

Also, when you get the red light and hit the ball, and no shot registers in JNPG, checked the Rapsodo console and see if your ball data is captured there. Just to see if the Skytrak is in fact sending data over on your shot.

I have done this with two 2-man teams, but have never tried it with more than that. Are all of the players local or are you trying to play with players/teams online?

Not sure what the issue would be if each 2-man team had their own team color. So Player A & B are both set to red, Player C & D are both yellow and Player E & F are both orange. When you load the screen you should see each player with their respective color by their name. Probably wouldn't hurt to have all the players set up the same way as well in the player section. I'll try to set up a round and see if I can do it.

In PG if you turn on debugging on the console/rapsodo screen you can generally see why you do not have 2 green lights on the console screen or 3 green on the skytrak. You can also see why if you have 3 green lights on the skytrak but no shots register in pefect golf.

When JNPG first starts up it first has to find the skytrak. if debugging is turned on you will see discovery started and then hopefully your skytrak unit found. Next, the skytrak (at least I think it is the skytrak) must connect to perfect golf. You will see "connection to perfect golf completed"

About 1 in 5 times I cannot connect to perfect golf. Not sure why. I either wait 30 minutes and try again and it works, or reboot the PC and skytrak and it works.

If you pick a game type, like 3 man best ball - then it won't let you continue unless you have the right number of players/on the correct teams setup. Since it's letting you continue to the first hole - I'd say it's setup correctly. Seems when users have connectivity issues, they change from usb to wireless or vice versa. The few times that jnpg would not give me my red dot to start swinging, I click on the 'putt' icon and see if the light flashes - it always does for me. I then click off of putt and continue on w/no issue..... I have read where some users will reboot their machine or exit the game if the skytrak laser doesn't come on - CLICK THE 'PUTT' ICON AND THEN CLICK OFF OF IT! Has worked for me every single time!! Since I've never had an arming issue w/the skytrak driving range - I'd say it has to be a jnpg issue or the rapsodo plugin....

PS - had an awesome jnpg experience the other day. I've seen it quite a few times where you hit a low chip from right off the green and it will spin back for hundreds of yards, which is pretty funny. But my friend hit a high wedge into the green and it hit the pin. The ball ricocheted up into the air and the dynamic camera followed it from above looking down. It was amazing - like in a rocket ship. Not sure how high up it went, but I felt like we were in outer space. Took a long time before it came back down.... LOL
Because of these sometimes random things - I always put mulligans to 'always' so we can get out of some insane shot. Another great thing to lookout for is if you take a drop near water - sometimes it will drop you on the other side of the lake (which could be 1000 yards further away). If you don't catch it and just accept - in many case every shot it will force you to rehit because you're out of bounds. NEVER accept the drop without looking at where you are!! Hitting 'Previous' is how to get out of a bad drop!

I tested it on my Skytrak today and it worked fine for me. I had players 1&2 on blue, 3&4 on red, and 5&6 on yellow. Played one hole out with no issues.

When you say ' when I get to the Tee the red light is on but no ball hit registration takes place' do you mean the laser on the SkyTrak unit stays on after you hit a ball? That would be a SkyTrak issue not the game.

Thanks for all the advice wrt scrambles. Everything works now - I guess my issue was with a connection to skytrak and I appreciate the tips on how to do a soft reboot. I played a 4 man team scramble and a two man team scramble - just a few holes each, and it worked fine. A new question - if I'm setting up a game for my buddies who are with me - how do I keep online golfers from joining my game? This happened to me repeatedly when setting up the game to verify it functioned correctly and I just exited the game and restarted - tried to add my 8 players fast before some online person joined.
