Official v3.1 SkyTrak App Release

We have released v3.1. We will continue to work on club data and as promised, I will include you all in public beta as we fine-tune. Right now, SkyPro is only bringing in Club Speed and we re-calculate PTI based on that. In the not-to-distant future we will be bringing in additional parameters, most likely when we include R-Motion. Thanks for your patience with this one and enjoy.

Thanks SkyTrak_Seth - Working well so far.

A couple points:

- Glad to see the external monitor crash on startup is gone!
- Figuring out how to connect the Skypro I needed to come to the forums Maybe a splash screen for connection instructions would be helpful.
- Skypro integration worked well, but sometimes the club head speed did not show in orange (not sure if the connection dropped)
- Hoping that in the future we can pick which parameters (i.e. Club angle/impact angle etc.) from Skypro to include on Skytrak screen
- Fairway practice is cool, thanks
- Overall positive, thanks for continued improvements and new features.

Installed and hit about 50 shots tonight and and had several no reads, so many I got tired of it and and quit. Before I might see 1 in a 100. Other thing that changed is I purchased a Fiberbuilt mat and this was the first time hitting of it with the SkyTrak app. I’ll have to go back out this evening and try some more but so far not so good for me.

just mark the ball up, lines /dots whatever. this helps with the no reads on my end.

Raise the skytrak so the bottom of the unit is just less then .5" above the fiberbuilt surface

I had quite a few no reads when first using my Fiberbuilt.... I found that when I left the adjustable tee or a rubber mat tee in the hitting strip while hitting iron shots off the mat, I got a lot of no reads. Removed the tee, and the no reads went away.

The skytrak was getting confused I think, reading the ball and the tee just after impact.

But now my practice history is gone since the update. I hope, this is just a temporary database bug and you can fix this.

My history was gone after update too, but after my first connection to the skytrak, my account synced and it all came back

I briefly tried update 3.1. and discovered several bugs
1) The trajectory of shots is not displayed in fairway mode
2) In green mode, the first two shots are not displayed
3) shot optimizer - does not match ball speed and back spin data with home data
screen

Next, I have checked the carry distance calculations of Skytrak and FlightScope Tajectory Optimizer. FlightScope Tajectory Optimizer counts about 10% longer carry. I do not know what data to believe, my experience at the course course corresponds to more FlightScope Tajectory Optimizer.

Yeah, that happens on the update if we make changes to the database. But all of that shot data is stored in your 360 account. Just open the app with an internet connection - if you are signed in, it will pull all that data back down.

But if you are offline, you must first connect to online and synchronize with the 360 account. It is then possible to upgrade to 3.1.
I did not do it and the history is lost after upgrade to 3.1. :-(

My history never syncs when just opening the app with an internet connection. It only syncs after I open the app AND the skytrak is connected.

1) I can't reproduce this...can you give me exact steps?
2) I can't reproduce this either, can you give steps?
3) I realized that we are not converting ball speed to metric on the optimizer screen. I'll get it taken care of quickly. Also, we can't really optimize for total spin so we still display back spin on the optimizer screen, but we do display the spin axis number at the bottom.

Haven't changed anything on the flight model in a long time - have you adjusted altitude in the app to match where you are?

1) Practice - set Fairway mode - played shots - go to history - shot history - select strokes - display shot ploting
2) Practice - set Green mode - played shots - go to history - shot history - select strokes - display shot ploting

Skytrak and FlightScope Tajectory Optimizer had set the similar altitude (influence can be max. 1 m carry).

Tested the Shot Optimizer last night. Will definitely use it for tuning my drivers because I agree with the optimal values.

The first club I tested the Shot Optimizer with was a Ping s55 7 iron. My decent angle was not "optimal", too high? I'm guessing the SkyTrak optimal values are for efficient distance, not stopping on the green.
