Connecting to WGT

Tried to connect to WGT last night but did not have any luck.

My SkyTrak was in network mode and I opened the SkyTrak app and logged in.
My understanding is that you need to hard close the ST app and then open the WGT app.
However when I close the ST app my wifi appears to switch to my home broadband connection.
Then when I open WGT it does not recognise SkyTrak as the SkyTrak wi-fi is not there.

Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

I don't hard close the ST app when I go to WGT. However, sometimes I have to hard close both ST and WGT in order to go back and be able to do another practice session in ST.

When using iOS devices, you double click the home button and close any of the apps. I think it is similar to the PC version of using task manager to close programs.

When trying to connect to wgt should your wifi connection be the skytrak one or your home broadband?

Surely someone can help me connect! I got a garbage reply from WGT helpdesk was garbage and it was SkyTrak helpdesk who asked me to contact the WGT helpdesk so nobody seems to know...

Have you set up your ST to find your home WiFi? Your ST and device that you will be using have to be connected to WiFi. If I remember correctly when playing in direct mode you get RGG until you choose your practice mode. When connected via network you should get RYG until the ST finds your device. DM me and I will be happy to try and help off-line if needed.

Correct. The only way to play WGT is with the ST and IOS device connected to wifi with internet access.
