My software is up for renewal and just curious if WGT is worth the extra cost ($100) and any hidden cost associated with WGT? I am running IOS with my IPad.

There are not any additional cost to play on WGT with the SkyTrak. However, some will say you get what you pay for when it comes to sims. I haven't tried anything other than WGT, but I can tell you putting, chipping, and pitching around the greens is not ideal. I play WGT basically as a way to practice, you start out with driver or long iron, then progress to shorter irons to approach. WGT gives you the option of skipping your putts and taking their assumed amount of putts.

Is it worth it? I say yes, because you need at least the Game Improvement Plan if you ever want to try another sim. Might as well use the free WGT until you decide what you want.

I believe WGT is $100 extra to get the full version. With GIP you only get the Closest to the hole comps.

Honestly, I was bored with WGT after two weeks. ** disclosure ** I've had it on my phone forever, so probably played a part.

I would invest the 100 into another Sim package.

My first year I had WGT for 3 months and purchased TGC. The 2nd year I purchased e6 and JNPG and no WGT. This year I have TGC and WGT. I like WGT since the courses are pictures so it look very real. I also like the fact after you hit the ball it reads calculating. I think it is worth 100 - but only allows one player. I really think TGC 2019 is going to set a new level. I am looking forward to it.
