Hi,
Has anyone been able to get the iOS SkyTrak app to display / be projected to any other aspect ratio besides 4:3 on a projector or TV? If so, how?
I recently bought the Apple digital AV adapter (lightning to HDMI) to use with my 6th gen iPad for projecting the SkyTrak app through a projector. The SkyTrak app displays on the screen, but it's fixed to the iPad's native display ratio of 4:3 and is much smaller than the full display / projection. It's basically a smaller floating image in the middle of the projection with black surrounding the top, bottom and left/right. I tested this on a TV as well as an older computer monitor and it's the same issue. However, Netflix content (and I'm sure other media content) are recognized and displayed in full resolution - fully filling up the space much nicer.
I'm not 100% certain if this issue is due to Apple's "mirror" display that doesn't allow any adjustments to recognize the target device's display resolution or a software / app issue that could potentially be fixed from SkyTrak. I'll play with the projector display settings the next time I have access to it. From an initial assessment, I wasn't able to zoom in further or stretch the projected image.
Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
