TGC purchase in 2016

So I've been out of the loop and haven't been able to use my SkyTrak for a while now as a result of health issues, but I have returned to this forum after some time and now see that there is a new TGC released, 2019? But it seems that some people are able to get the new update for free and others are not, and I have read other threads but hadn't seen if there was anything in regards to users who purchased years ago when TGC first came out for SkyTrak, and if they also get this update for free? Thanks.

If the purchase was made Jan 1 2018 or after, ProTee United said you will receive the upgrade for free, but it will come from SkyTrak. It just depends on when SkyTrak is ready to release it. However, if purchased before 2018, they provided an upgrade path where users can request a free upgrade based on you playing on the tour or an active forum member. The free upgrade request link has been taken down. They only made it available for a short period of time. Several people already received their upgrade, while some have not. There are several of us still waiting. You might try emailing protee to se if you can still get in on the free upgrade. There’s no guarantee though, good luck.

Same here, but I didn't have time to play tour or post a lot on the forum after having a baby. I am more involved now since I'm upgrading my sim room, and the boy sleeps through the night. I have my fingers crossed too.

I bought TGC at the first time.

and i spent more money than other because when i bought TGC, protee sold TGC and their protee 2.0 software together
Even i didnt need it..

so i had to buy protee 2.0 software too.

and i was tgc tour member. I test Q-school too.

And i introduced TGC to korean through my youtube channal

so some korean bought because of me.


But they said to me that have to pay if i want to upgrade..

Because i didnt play TGC tour after 2018.

But i play and practice everyday TGC


So I was really disappoiment about their decision.

even i didnt play TGC tour.. I like TGC.

but now... I wont recommend TGC to my friend or korean anymore..
