The very first time I asked about SkyTrak, they started talking about SkyCaddie too. I don't think the live chat people know what they are doing overall.

My conversation was before they posted the nov 15 ship date for skytrak.

Mine went like this

"Hello, do you know when SkyTrak will ship?"

"We are working hard on the SkyCaddie release."

Hi all, here's a few answers for you.

1) User Guides arrived this morning. Units are being boxed up at this moment and will begin shipping out today. I cannot guarantee every unit will go out today (we have a lot!) but they are being shipped out as fast as they can be packed and put through the system.

2) About the iPhone, to be honest we just haven't tested it. We've been focused on iPad for now. Happy to look at it though once this thing gets out the door.

3) Future simulation options will be available on several platforms. Personally, I think I would prefer PC for the ease of connecting to a secondary monitor/projector. Plus, delay times will be shorter due to faster processing power.

4) In other news, I am going to be on vacation with my family next week (how's that for terrible timing), so I will be unable to respond to questions. However, I have made arrangements for someone in the office to check the board in case anything blows up. All said and done, I hope to return to a bunch of happy SkyTrak users!

iPad Air from Best Buy at $320 seems like the way to go. I was going to get the iPad Air 2 due to its faster processing but when (if :-/) simulation comes out I can just use a desktop.

Seth thanks for the update, appreciate it. Would be great if you throw in a windows beta copy of the apps in the shipment and save our hard earned $$ on a new iPad and keep that for the sim.
Agree Bahamas is too near for comfort. How about North Korea, I hear Mr Kim wanting to take up golf after his knee gave up on him at the basketball court. :-)

Hello, just signed up to the forum mainly to give you guys some info on the Skygolf site. I know some have been looking at their order in the Skytrak and Skygolf site and are seeing that it still shows not shipped yet. FYI, I have purchased several Skygolf items over the years and that page still shows several items as not shipped yet even though I received them a long time ago. I have spoken to my contact at Skytrak about my order that was placed on the 18th of October. I really wanted it before Thansgiving because I have a house full of people and this was going to be one of the forms of entertainment. I was ready to pay an extra fee for an expedited shipment but I was assured that it would arrive here in Ohio by the holidays.
