Question for all of you Skytrak owners: What camera view/point of view control do you have in the Skytrak app? In some of the videos I've seen posted online it seems like the camera view switches once a person hits the ball. Before impact/at address the camera view is from the player's perspective looking down the range and then after impact it's as if the camera moves down to the landing area and is looking back up the range at the player.
Can you adjust this so that when just using the range feature the entire ball flight is viewed from the players perspective?
Thanks!

Yup - go to the sliding bar join the top right, session settings, and then the perspective is changeable.Originally posted by Three Putt Pars View Post

I too have the First Person Perspective as I find it more relatable to real life.

Hi Guys,
I'm on the edge of ordering a unit ($300 off promotion) and just have two questions.
1. For those who are owners, with all of the inconsistency of the software, are you still happy you purchased SK and not something else?
2. I am after a unit which will help me improve my shot shape and am not too fussed with the distance being out, will the inconsistencies in both 1.7 and 1.8 spin and distance measuring and calcs still give me an adequate representation of shot shape?
thanks

software can be fixed, hardware is static. So they will eventually get the bugs ironed out. I'm very pleased with it so far for the cost of the device and the data that it consistently puts out, I cannot complain.
I find the representations of my misses are as expected. And I've been able to predict fairly often the exact shape I expected from the strike.
Also, with the partnerships announced at the PGA show, and the fact that this is the only device released and available at this price I'm very positive about the future of it.
And it isn't even summer yet where I can take this outdoors.
Don't forget that it doubles as an outdoor launch monitor too, not just an indoors simulator.Last edited by wilson; 01-21-2015, 10:56 PM.

I am still happy with the purchase. As fas as I experience, measuring or capturing the ball data is no issue at all. With correct data in hands, The carry distance issue in 1.8 will be eventually fixed. Regarding ball flight shapes, Skytrak is very good at presenting them.Originally posted by Mikkaat View PostHi Guys,

I will tell you this, after speaking with the staff at the show today I am convinced that this is the unit of the future, and the partnership with E6 and their vision of bringing high quality simulation, club fitting and teaching to the everyday golfer is outstanding.
I went to the Foresight golf booth and aksed what they have coming down the line in the way of affordable launch monitors and they gave me the GC2. Great unit no doubt but still 4K more than a Skytrak and now with the cloud based E6 being only $25 a month, even better.
I am even more satified with my purchase now than I was in the beginning.

I ordered mine on 10/18. Arrived on 12/03, however I pre-ordered mine so that delay may not be typical nowadays.Originally posted by Three Putt Pars View PostAnother question for current Skytrak owners: For those of you who have purchased recently how long did it take to receive your unit? What was the lead time from order until it was delivered to your door?

There are multiple view options user selectable.Originally posted by Three Putt Pars View PostQuestion for all of you Skytrak owners: What camera view/point of view control do you have in the Skytrak app?
