The video displays both ball speed and clubhead speed. Is it measuring both?

      No, just ball speed only.

Looking at the Japanese PDF above, it appears the discrepancies in carry yardage was due mainly from the differences in LA and possibly a little wind. The SkyTrak's LA are consistently higher than TM's LA by 1.5-3 degrees. This could be due to setup or a problem with the SkyTrak itself.

If the SkyTrak's LA readings were all over the place compared to TM, then I could question the SkyTrak's LA accuracy. But it appears to be consistent. Also, some of TM's carry numbers don't jive with Flightscope's Trajectory Optimizer. SkyTrak's carry numbers were closer to Flightscope than TM's carry numbers, which makes me think there might have been some wind involved.

LA is relatively easy to measure. To be off by that much means either a problem with setup or the unit itself IMO. BS readings were very close and backspin numbers were close most of the time. Overall, not bad for a LM that will cost less than 1/4 of the GC2 or maybe even less.

Xwing SkyTrak in action. This particular app being used by Xwing is 2D only.

              Hey Bubba22 and Zmax,

This looks like a great development but I'm curious how it works with the protee system or if it does at all.

Can the unit work with the protee system to yield both ball and club? Or do the 2 systems work independently of each other?

Will the unit connect wirelessly to a desktop to allow screen projection?

I have a number of other questions as well depending on the answers to these questions.

              Thanks.

The unit can connect to either a desktop or iPad via wifi. iPad apps are included but no word on desktop sim software yet. No official word on integration with ProTee yet, but it's technically possible.

                  Hi,

I'm with CKGuy, I'd love to see how this integrates with ProTee, and how quickly? I like the idea of having something like that to take to the range, I could even take my iPad to the range and get numbers from it. But, does it store numbers if I do not have my iPad with me?

How long will it take them to write the SDK interface to ProTee, or even decide that they will, or is this something that ProTee has to write?

As far as Chinese technology, yes it's often cheaper, but I don't trust it. As a programmer myself, I've seen many cases of bad code, and/or inaccurate coding done with technology products coming from China, so I'd be a little concerned about that.

The SkyTrak looks fine, but I think it's going to be way too far off to consider it in a recent Sim build?

Yes, the cost is reduced, but you still need the ProTee ($2,000) to interface with the software, right?
                  at least with Putting.

Zmax, any word on how soon they ProTee would provide a separate putting

It will not work without the iPad app.

if it happens, I don't think it would take long. SportTrak already has the SDK.

Maybe, maybe not. Can't you tell that bubba22 and I have been a little frustrated? LOL.

In another post you say that only ProTee has the SDK, or that the other companies have to license the SDK from ProTee? So, I'm curious, as this launch monitor looks amazing... What exactly are the steps required to see this come to ProTee as an interface? Have you been in touch with SportTrak about it, and do they have a timeline for doing that?

Yes, but tell me more please... do you have an idea of when this may be available as a Sim version for ProTee?

                        Thanks,
                        -Brett

When I said that I was referring to the SkyTrak SDK. In the other thread I was talking about the TGC SDK. Two different SDKs.

I'll just say this. For accurate simulators for this Winter, ProTee or GC2.

People have leaked out that it will include e6 for $4800.

                            It is what it is...
