  • How many would pay only to use simulator software if that was an option

I belive now we all pay 100 a year to use the skytrak software and to be able to use simulator software such as TGC 2019 with our skytraks. If there was an option to pay say 50 each year to use only the simulator software how many would take that option.

Me I would pay only the 50.

I own TGC 2019 but would still pay the $100/year. I love the Skills Assessment

Paul, I am a new user. I have TGC 2019 also. How do you access the skills assessment?

I’m sure there are both sides of the fence but I personally use the skytrak range more than the simulator. I find it more useful and the game improvement and random range targets simulate pressure situations also. I own tgc and play it in the winter a few times a week but if the weather allows I’d rather go to the course and if I’m practicing I’d rather use the range. That being said I definitely think there is a market for a sim only option though because I know there are people that don’t have time for real golf and may only have the option to play on a sim for lost if not all of their rounds.

You mean $50 to play the TGC but leave out the range, target practice, bag mapping, closest to the pin, etc. features that SkyTrak provides for $100? I personally like the range features in the native SkyTrak app to help sharpen my game and get quick direct visual and numerical feedback on my many swing issues.

It's certainly worth the extra $50/year ($100 total) to me over a $50 just to access/interface with TGC.

I use the ST range much more than I use TGC 2019 (Lifetime license). I haven't used the other features as much as I probably should e.g. Bag mapping, Skills Assessment..etc.. I certainly would prefer to not have to pay an annual fee, but since we have to pay $100 per year I am satisfied with what we get with it.

I have no issues with a $100 fee for the app. There are a few things I’d like added (like combining the randomized in practice with the dynamic handicap of the game improvement) but I think it’s way better as a driving range than using TGC for that purpose personally.
