After getting to a senior sales person at Sky Golf on the premise that I am looking to buy in bulk for a facility, I was told that the folks over there have been told to expect in weeks not months. was also convincingly reassured of financial viability and the fact that there are no new plans for hardware upgrades any time soon. Take that all with a grain of salt but thats's the word. Topook some coaxing so not sure that was off a script.

“SkyTrak will perform scheduled network maintenance on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020 from 5pm - 7pm CST. During this window you may experience performance issues with the website. Thank you for your support and patience during this upgrade.”
I just pulled this from Skytrak’s website. I know it refers to the website, but it has me wondering if there’s maybe fire behind all this smoke?!

I have been patiently watching and waiting to pull the trigger. When nothing came out at the show in January, I have decided to pull the trigger and see what happens. I guess this will allow me to fully vent my frustrations like you long time ST users. Maybe I will stay off the forum for a while so I can enjoy it for a while. Lol

It might depend on the unit. We have a fella over in discord that had been hitting 170-176 on his skytrak. He just switched to GC2 and appears to be hitting the sane speeds. We also have another fella that just switched and is hitting in the 170s with gc2. It appears he has found more speed but still waiting on some data.

Morini You are correct, I looked at Seth's old posts and he does mention a firmware update to fix the ball speed issue.
I guess you can remove the "except" from my list. Literally all bells and whistles as far as the SkyTrak app is concerned
