SkyTrak v3.4.1 Official Release

Hi Everyone,

As you all know, this has been quite a wait - thanks to all of you for your patience! There are a lot of backend changes that needed to happen for v3.4.1, and thus we will be rolling this release out over the next couple of days. I wanted to start with the forum and give you guys first crack at it before it goes live to the public. So below, you can find the PC download links for 32-bit and 64-bit. Please give this a go and let me know if you run into any issues. Assuming all goes smoothly, we will roll out iOS and Android beginning tomorrow.

v3.4.1 Release Notes

- Added support for multiple accounts to aid in switching back and forth easily between users and for multiplayer challenges.
- Added the ability to create a custom golf bag in Profile. You may toggle to this bag in the Practice club selection popup.
- Improvements to high ball speed measurements (150mph+).
- Fixed Dispersion Circle display bug in shot plotting screen.
- Fixed LH display bug in Shot History.
- Fixed delete shot bug in Practice Greens.
- Added Internet Availability icon to Dashboard.

All, we have fixed the offline mode bug. Here are the new PC download links. I am working to have the original post switched over to these as well to avoid confusion. I will redistribute iOS and Android codes once those are approved as well.

GungHoGolf Just checked out that optimizer that's actually a really neat tool.

As for the ST results I can have a look at all the settings tonight and run another batch of shots see what happens if you want......the 272 shot was admittedly longer that I would have expected.

Also gonna give your swing setup tips a shot see what happens. My driver is a 9.5 but adjustable down to 8 I believe. Thanks!

Sounds good, thanks for testing! I spot checked the other guy's drive data and didn't see that big of a discrepancy. Maybe you're set to 22000 feet or something.

One other thing for the swing change: you'll want more secondary axis tilt at address (right side bend), and hold it thru impact with your head behind the ball, to get a nice ascending blow. Try adjusting your loft down to 8.5 (that's what lowers the spin), then the ascending blow (+4-5 deg AoA) is what raises the launch angle. Also remember that with the ball more forward and the club moving up, you'll be catching it with a more outside-in path naturally, which will tend to produce a fade... so if you want straight or a draw, might have to set up a little more closed to the target with your right foot back a bit to straighten that path out.

Alright GungHoGolf so the settings I am using are: No wind, 50% humidity, Altitude 2200, Temp 70.

I adjusted my driver down from 10 to 8.5 and changed my setup as you suggested and.......holy shit man it felt fantastic. Better contact, straighter and longer already. I attached the results.....launch angle up from 9.4 to 12.5 and backspin down from 3,764 to 2,781.

Only increased carry by 4 yards but felt so much better....I think as I get used to it and get ball speed up a couple mph will help even more.

Awesome. You’ll get more rollout on firm fairways as the spin drops more - that’s where most of the gains come from. The less you spin it, the more solid contact will feel to you (smash factor goes up). Use some foot spray powder and try to make contact slightly above center (kills spin) and slightly towards toe (more CH speed towards toe) for best results. Also not sure what ball you’re using, but give the Titleist AVX a try.

Hi Seth,
I have Skytrak with the E6 version 1.6. I know putting from the fringe isn't possible and short chips are also a challenge. It appears that Skytrak would like to move all current 1.6 owners to E6 Connect - understandable. My question is, if I move to E6 Connect, can I putt from the fringe/fairway and are there still challenges picking up short chips?

E6 Connect has a free demo, you should try it out. This ST software update has nothing to do with E6.

E6 CONNECT incorporated the new SDK with 'smart putting' mode that all of our other sim partners use. So yes, putting/chipping is much improved.

SkyTrak_Seth can you elaborate on what "smart putting" mode does in TGC19 and E6 Connect? Also, while we're talking about E6 Connect, I hope you and TruGolf can figure out how to make SkyTrak take into account course elevation, wind, and terrain penalties (rough, sand, cart path, etc)... love E6 Connect with SkyTrak, but folks who live at elevation aren't going to like playing sea level elevations, and the lack of wind and terrain penalties makes the game far too easy currently.

For ios update - what does it mean to "put the code at the bottom of the app store" ?

This makes no sense. On my iPad there is no "bottom of the app store"
