SkyTrak v3.4.1 Official Release

Hi Everyone,

As you all know, this has been quite a wait - thanks to all of you for your patience! There are a lot of backend changes that needed to happen for v3.4.1, and thus we will be rolling this release out over the next couple of days. I wanted to start with the forum and give you guys first crack at it before it goes live to the public. So below, you can find the PC download links for 32-bit and 64-bit. Please give this a go and let me know if you run into any issues. Assuming all goes smoothly, we will roll out iOS and Android beginning tomorrow.

v3.4.1 Release Notes

- Added support for multiple accounts to aid in switching back and forth easily between users and for multiplayer challenges.
- Added the ability to create a custom golf bag in Profile. You may toggle to this bag in the Practice club selection popup.
- Improvements to high ball speed measurements (150mph+).
- Fixed Dispersion Circle display bug in shot plotting screen.
- Fixed LH display bug in Shot History.
- Fixed delete shot bug in Practice Greens.
- Added Internet Availability icon to Dashboard.

Can someone tell me, on the closest to pin screen, Are we suppose to have a mixture of imperial and metric information ?

I know this was brought up before and I'm almost certain we addressed it in v3.4.1. I will check tomorrow, and if not, we will take care of it in a follow up release.

Looks like it didn't make it into v3.4.1. What exactly would you expect to see if on the green? Over one meter = 1.14M? Under one meter = in centimeters or 0.76M?

That’s sounds like a great idea, like you suggested over a meter 1.14m under in cm would be fine.

Sorry I was not able to get you promo codes over the weekend. I would do so now, but we just pushed it live! So you can now download v3.4.1 from Apple (it may take some time to propagate). Android will follow later today.

If you got the first version, then you should reinstall. If you got the second, then it's the same as what's in the store. You can check in ABOUT - it should be version 3.4.1 (27), 03/05/2020 20:26:11

Android was released but in a staged roll out, so it may take a day or so to get out to everyone.

SkyTrak_Seth...Just had a question about the custom bag. In my previous sessions where I selected a club it aggregated that data onto Skygolf 360 and gave me averages for those clubs. Will that migrate to my custom bag or will it only collect the data for any new shots going forward?

SkyGolf 360 is currently setup to handle club type only (driver, 6 iron, etc). So your custom clubs will be aggregated (like two custom 6 irons will be lumped together under '6 iron'). Everything on the backend is tagged though, so I'm sure it will be able to filter by custom club name in the near future.

Is there some limit to android version what need to have on this update?
My skytrak says update available and if I click yes. I only see google play reads open skytrak.

Android was released in a staged release, so it may just not have made it to you yet. Hopefully everyone will have it in the next 24 hours.

FYI, the Android staged roll out was taking too long so I just pushed it to 100% roll out. Everyone should have access now.

SkyTrak_Seth used the ST range on my Galaxy S9+ last night. When I loaded it up it had a pop-up saying "A newer version is available. Do you want to install". (Something like that anyway)

• I clicked on "Yes"
• It took me to the Google App Store, to the ST app, then there were only two options "Uninstall" and "Open"
  • I clicked Open
• It took me right back to the App in progress, and it worked fine
• I went into the range. Everything normal.
• Backed out to the main ST page (Practice/Challenge/Bag Mapping [sorry can't remember the one on the right]) and the pop-up showed again.
  • So I repeated the process above, worked as before
• This process repeated every time I did it.

Curious, I checked the version of my app vs the version shown in the App Store and confirmed they were the same (3.3.7 was it?). Is that the updated version, or was I catching it in between where it knew there was a newer version, but was still giving me the old version?

Yeah, sorry, that was definitely a mixup. The installed app call for version check was updated before the new app was 100% rolled out to everyone's Play store. I fixed that this morning but just pushing it live to everyone.

My Skytrak has just randomly stopped reading shots. The red dot just stays on... I have tried everything I know numerous times and when I load either the Skytrak range up or the tgc game up it doesn’t register shots and the red dot stays on. I downloaded the update last week. Should I try reinstall? ... I should also mention my Skytrak is in perfect condition and is still under warranty and I’ve never had an issue before. Cheers

Sounds to me like the laser curtain. Can you try it in LH mode and see if you can get it to trigger? You don't need to actually hit a shot, just waggle a club in front.

That’s a symptom of a burned-out IR curtain laser on one side. To confirm, put it in left-hand mode and see if it picks up LH chips. If it does, you’ll need to send it in for repair. Do it before your 6 month warranty is up.
