SkyTrak v3.4.1 Official Release

Hi Everyone,

As you all know, this has been quite a wait - thanks to all of you for your patience! There are a lot of backend changes that needed to happen for v3.4.1, and thus we will be rolling this release out over the next couple of days. I wanted to start with the forum and give you guys first crack at it before it goes live to the public. So below, you can find the PC download links for 32-bit and 64-bit. Please give this a go and let me know if you run into any issues. Assuming all goes smoothly, we will roll out iOS and Android beginning tomorrow.

v3.4.1 Release Notes

- Added support for multiple accounts to aid in switching back and forth easily between users and for multiplayer challenges.
- Added the ability to create a custom golf bag in Profile. You may toggle to this bag in the Practice club selection popup.
- Improvements to high ball speed measurements (150mph+).
- Fixed Dispersion Circle display bug in shot plotting screen.
- Fixed LH display bug in Shot History.
- Fixed delete shot bug in Practice Greens.
- Added Internet Availability icon to Dashboard.

Is anyone still using the skypro with the skytrak? Mine wont transfer the swing speed anymore since the update. Still shows connected and everything just wondering if anyone else has had the issue or knows of any tricks. I know the skypro isn't being supported anymore but was hoping they would keep it in play. Thanks

I am still having a problem signing in when adding a new user. I put in my username and password and then hit log in and a spinning circle appears in the center of my screen like the computer is thinking. It then just stays that way and I can't do anything. I have to hit the X at top right and close the program. I have great internet connection. Router is right next to computer and don't have any problem when online or playing TGC. I am thinking maybe I should re-load the 3.4.1. Your thoughts?

That's a new one. The only thing I can think of is that possibly the server was down or busy...it's obviously been a few days since you posted this (sorry about that!), have you tried it since and gone through?

Did anyone test this update vs. the old one with a shorter iron or wedge to see if the ball speed stayed the same?

I also have been having problems all of a sudden.

The summary of them is that it'll be working, then suddenly won't read. It won't be frozen, as I can click around, but it won't read any shots.

But the weird thing is, while trying to restart/fix it, it always takes different things. Sometimes I can just exit my range session. Sometimes I need to restart the app (iPad). Sometimes I need to restart the Skytrak unit. Sometimes, I need to restart the entire iPad for it work.

And when it doesn't work with a certain method, what happens is, the program will be loading, and just get stuck at 98 or 99%. Very strange...

All I know is that using direct mode, I have to log-in using internet, then switch wifi to Skytrak, then back to app. If I don't do it in this order, it will stop at 98%, and I have to hard close the app.

PS - It's GREAT to be back!

I installed the update on a second PC and I am unable to log into the master account since then. it does not allow me to log in. I installed the 64 bit version and restalled and even after it was reinstalled still can't log in. reset the password three times with symbols and lower and upper case etc and still nothing....anyone else that can help

I couldnt' log in either, and reset password multiple times, it was driving me crazy. Then I saw my log in name somewhere (can't remember where, skygolf maybe), and it was similar, but not exactly the same. The symbols had changed, like I had used a foreign keyboard. Anyhow, when I used those, I got in. I will take a closer look tomorrow, and see where I saw the mysterious log in name.

I updated mine last week and haven’t paid for GIP yet as my skytrak unit has become temperamental in the off season. I don’t think the upgrade is to blame

the top of the 3 lights is clicking red more often than it ever did and after dust removal and cleaning etc

is there a firmware update to the unit required

I am confused. You can't log in, but long drive works?

Sorry for the delay. Just responded to your PM but can handle here too so others can see. When you first installed v3.4.2, it prompted you to create a unique Profile Name which is to be used for login going forward. Is it possible you are trying to use your old username (email address)?

yes, I can't log into the master log in but the skytrak unit automatically connects to skytrak with internet

But if you are not logged in, how can long drive work? You need GIP to do that. Also did you see my comments earlier about the password? I think I figured out my problem. I used my daughters ipad, and she had a foreign keyboard enabled. It changed the symbols in the password to different ones. Are you by any chance using a foreign keyboard?

E6 range is sea level elevation. Otherwise exact same ball flight model from SkyTrak.

Since downloading the newest version I have noticed that I can’t turn the tracer on nor toggle many of the other Session Settings while trying any of the Challenges. Why is that? I can’t imagine that has anything to do with the challenge?

it's great to see 160 ball speed but it was nice to log In and have my bag profile and alignment

I just ordered a skytrak with the game improvement plan and very excited for it to arrive! I held off on getting the $200/year package based on how frustrated people seem to get from chipping on WGT. Was this fixed in any previous updates or is the chipping still an issue?
