    Ball speed

    Hi guys ,
    just a couple of questions
    1. I know the club speeds are not accurate but is the ball speeds spot on ??
    2. After I’ve logged on and begin my practice despersion and 50 ball lines are always on I change it to off and 5 balls is there anyway to have this from the beginning without having to change it every time ?

    thanks

    1. Ball data is measured while club speed is calculated based off those ball measurements. You can trust the ball speed to be accurate to within probably 1-2 MPH.

    2. Are you talking about the shot tracer lines on the driving range? I have actually never encountered this and didn't even know there was a way to change it lol. Mine just shows the previous shot.

Ball Speed data is generally pretty accurate. I've had this up against a Trackman and it was within a few MPH of it. Not sure what you are talking about in your second question. You can change how many shots are shown for the line tracing... Its in your options on the right of the screen.

I will third that. Put it up against Trackman as well. 90%+ of shots were within 2 mph. Most well within 1. The odd on one had 4 or so mph difference. No real way of knowing for sure, but likely the ST was cause of divergence.

I also compared VLA and spin. VLA was VERY close EVERY time. Spin was very close most of the time, but the odd one would be off. In those cases, I believe ST was the accurate ones, as it was more in line with what was observed and expected with regards to ball flight (albeit indoor), and Trackman struggles with spin indoors.

Thanks what I mean in second question is
on practice ground under session setting where you can adjust the wind and firmness etc .
the shot tracer is always set at 50 balls with dispersed on
every time I then adjust it to off with 5 balls shot tracer . Then every time I go back after I’ve switched it off it reverts back to 50 ball trace with dispersed on ...
          if that makes sense?
is there anyway to save your setting so when I start up it’s as I want it ? Doesn’t look like it

All your session settings should save and be the same when you start back up. Are you sure you're logging in, and as the same user each time? Do you have the Game Improvement Package?
