The more and more I play TGC2019, the more importance I put on my approach shots, especially when using my wedges. One of my major bugaboos is when my SkyTrak misreads my spin... How would I know that the spin is wrong... Lets say I hit a full 54 or 60* wedge... Feels good, nothing out of the ordinary with it. Ball flys the distance I would expect or maybe a bit more, but literally hits a green and just keeps on going... Recap screen says sub 6K spin. I look down at my wedge and I see white paint on the face. I mean come on... I'm ripping the cover off the ball here... It has to be between 10K and 11,500!
Similarly I hit a small chip from 10-20 yards, and i'll get a ridiculous run out on it and I see a spin of 937rpm... I see 937 as a number more often than any spin number when I'm making those chips...
Frustrating when I'm playing in a tournament for sure. This kinda reminds me of how on Uneekor there is a common mis-read spin number that will populate... So I wonder... is 937, that misread number on chip shots for Skytrak?
