Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a release coming out for Android or PC (Not a apple user). Last I saw, Skytrak has stated the were not quite yet ready for announce anything yet. But that was back in February. Any new info available since?

Hey all, just a very quick update on v2.0 and PC. Given the success and popularity of the open WGT beta period, I decided to hold back v2.0 and PC to add a few more features and tidy things up a bit. The plan right now is to submit iOS to Apple tomorrow. PC does not need any approval period, so I can just post a download link. I'll make sure and post all the release notes and instructions - I've actually had that post written for well over a week

Are you saying that we can now use a PC to connect to Skytrak instead of using the iOS?

Seth, will the PC version allow us to play WGT on a PC as well. I have had limited success with the network mode.

Ha. There's lots of reasons for holding back...complicated but totally worth it in this instance. I'll probably post the PC thread tomorrow, but we'll see how things go today.

As far as WGT on PC, currently no. Their PC play is browser-based and that's a whole other beast to tackle as far as device communication goes. .

Hey seth, love the good news. i might get a little greedy here but if WGT is not running on PC is there any Chance at all that Apple haters like me get the Chance to play it on Android before the end of the year? I know your vocus is on PC and Apple, And PC definatly is the most important for tgc and e6. Just wondering if Android is still in the picture

Sweet, Can't wait for the PC version. For those of us in Australia, it will certainly make things a lot easier and I'll be able to connect my projector back up in my home hitting bay again.

Delay on my PC is between 2-3 seconds.

Yep, that's right. From here on out, all of our versions will be the same, just available on multiple platforms.

That said, cutting it this close to the wire I think I'm going to apply my better judgement and post the thread on Monday morning. The simple reason being that I'm out of pocket all weekend and can't take the risk of something going wrong and not being able to address. I hope you guys understand but please be on the lookout first thing Monday.

I came back to work tonight for you guys to get it out and still don't feel 100% on the upgrade with PC to new firmware. What I want to avoid is you all getting stuck in 'device limbo'. I'm making sure the team irons it out over the weekend and I will be back at it first thing Monday. I really tried, but I need it to be right. There are huge changes here. I cannot thank you enough for your patience, and believe me when I say I'm looking out for your best interest.
