Hi Seth. I'm new to this forum but have been reading as much as I can about SkyTrak on this and other forums. It seems that many experienced sim users think that The Golf Club game is the best simulator software out there right now. In fact, if I'm understanding and remembering things correctly, Bubba22 and Zmax were instrumental (please correct me if I'm wrong) in getting ProTee to integrate their sim hardware (and gc2) with The Golf Club software. So my question to you/SkyTrak is simply this: Has there been any thought to integrating SkyTrak with The Golf Club? And if so, what are the odds that this might happen? And if so, when?

Chris, this doesn't exactly answer your chipping question but is important for new players, if you are on the fringe, don't putt unless you are in "Putting Mode" (press "P"). If you use your putter while not in putting mode, you will hear the normal swoosh and smack as if hitting with a driver instead of the soft click of the putt - and the ball will go virtually nowhere. If you do it wrong by accident, just press ESC and select Replay Shot from the menu to do it over, although if >1 players, don't do that until it is your turn again. If you do it right away you will delete the next player's last shot!

Has anyone updated their TGC membership via SkyTrak yet? Wondering if it's going to become a mess because I can see it thinking it is a new subscription instead of extending an existing one? I am opting to purchase outright after doing the annual subscription first.

I just envision this turning into a access code fiasco. I have 2 more days before it expires.
Fortunately we are getting some sort of freaky weather here in Mn and will be able to play outside for a few days!

As a new Skytrak/TGC owner I have read back in this thread and am very impressed at how everyone seems to handle even disagreements like when TGC was first coming out and cost seemed to be a concern. Not like how a lot of colleges and others seem to handle current political situations. So good to all of you. There seems to be a wealth of info on here but is there a cheatsheet for setups, settings, and good advice like the putting/chipping press "P" or the great advice for not losing your game by only restarting some but not all software? Would love to see it.

A couple quick questions: 1) Is it recommended or helpful to use the protee golf interface when using skytrak and tgc? (i have been successfully using it without having this installed)
2) How can i edit my clubs and and distance/club recommendations?
3) When launching the game from the skytrak tgc interface, it takes approximately 3 minutes to load. When loaded everything works fine on highest settings with no stuttering or anything. Any thoughts on why it loads so slowly?

I've read that's one of the few knocks against the Skytrak... it tends to over exaggerate a fade or a draw a bit. In this video comparison to a GC2, it does do it a bit if memory serves... not sure how extreme you're talking though.A short video comparing ball data between SkyTrak and GC2* Launch Monitors. Hitting shots with LW, 7i, 4i, 3W and Driver. Looking to purchase a SkyTrak - ple...

Some shots are considerably off, but it only seems to happen on TGC. Or is that impossible? Does TGC simply transfer the SkyTrak shot data or is there some conversion that could possibly corrupt the data?
