It's just business after that.
Seth, thanks for the info. I know you cannot comment on any date, but what about the purchase process? Will we be purchasing this through the Skytrak website? I am assuming this will be a download with a license? If you really are that close to release (this month) I am hoping these things are also being prepared.
Thanks.

I know you can buy the software here: https://swingsense.com/en/store/acce...ulator-details - not sure if we can just buy that then use SkyTrak's SDK (would seem that you could).

You will only be able to purchase TGC for SkyTrak through the SkyGolf Online Shop. TGC as listed on SwingSense (or anywhere else) will not work with SkyTrak.

If this is purchased outright, will the game improvement package still be required yearly to access TGC or will it go through a license check to verify you have purchased it and no other subscriptions required???. I asked this in a previous post but got no response. Any clarification?

ProTee United, I am a contrarian, and don't believe just because a few people say go right, that we all must go right. I like your product and hope to try it and then offer a full opinion. I see many flaws that aren't there with other Sim software. The fact that pro TGC users praise the product is great promo for you, but it doesn't help us see the negatives. A great company in my view isn't afraid of their "warts". Embrace them, tell us about them, don't try to hid the flaws. I'll see which software works best for my needs. Also, thanks, I will spend the $100 on WGT till everything is released. Cheers

Guest Lets get one thing straight here buddy. If there was something better out there you would be hearing me talk about that instead of TGC. But as there is not you get to listen to it. My comments exude a bias tone because I am so happy with what I have. It has been asked did you pay for it? NO I did not. And neither did 50 others on here who got it with the Protee system we own. So in a sense I did pay for it, But I look at it as a gift because it was not part of the original purchase. Knowing what I know now there would be no hesitation on my part to go out and buy either a SkyTrak, Protee, OR TGC. WGT might be OK for you. But It would never be good enough for me. So instead of trying to dismiss my joy with TGC and make me look like a paid player with something to gain if you buy TGC why not look at it like it really is? If you want to travel the path your about to take with blinders on so be it. but don't drag any of these other decent open minded people with you over that cliff you can';t see. I been down that road. I jumped all the hurdles, and dodged all the traps. But then I found this bunch and it's been smooth sailing ever since. All you have to do is listen.
You have the chance to own a new model, or an old model, or something that looks similar to a golf simulator. The choice is yours. the beauty of this situation is the new model don't cost as much as the old model. And I am not even going to comment on the wanna be.
Everyone thought the optishot was king of the world when it came out. It took me one month and I was disappointed. Along with gazillions of others. You have before you the same chance to make the same mistake.
But the one thing that matters most in this situation is where do you want to put the sweat and blood you gave to earn that money. that is a question only you can answer. For me I usually listen to people like myself who can't say enough good about something, and I am very rarely disappointed.
Oh hey one other thing before I jump back in my hole. Do you see anyone on this forum from E6? What about WGT? Same holds true for Sim hardware. How many you see on here actually spending time helping you out? There is something to be said for that also. Once you look at the big picture and stop looking at that $ sign it's pretty clear.
And since there don't seem to be enough Hilbilly in this comment let me end like this.
Owning junk golf software is like dating the fat girl.... It's all fine until you invite your friends over.
See the rest of you on tour.... Guest have fun with WGT... but if you ever do decide to dig up one of those cans you buried all you money in. You will have to wipe the stink off before joining us on tour. And don't forget a collared shirt either. And you will address me as "Sir" from now on.
Just kidding... Well about everything except wiping the stink off.Last edited by Hoosierdaddy; 10-13-2015, 05:09 PM.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNN............ ....sorry @hososierdaddy, are you done yet? Oh ya, I heard you cheated on the tour last year, that's probably why your so good.
Just because you got a free skytrak to test TGC, PP and E6, you don't need to pump your chest. It's actually quite annoying and I'd prefer if you don't reference me in other posts. Good luck in the future, I have no desire to debate this with you. You clearly have way to much time on your hands.

Sorry to bring back pricing, I am not meaning to be argumentative but here is my follow up for further clarification. I did read the post that set from skytrak said that the GIP works to unlock things like simulation from his post, what I don't understand is how th GIP is used by the other simulator software. By purchasing the GIP it states it unlocks all the PC and Apple features for the Skytrak app and it allows 1 challenge to be unlocked in WGT. Paying an extra 100 unlocks the WGT simulation play and the challenges. I see why they can charge for the GIP there because it's how they package it with WGT.
Now onto my point with TGC. It was stated previously that there will be subscription and purchase options for simulator software. What I don't understand is if you purchase separate software i.e. TGC, that does not use the skytrak app to access (mind you I am not a beta tester this is all just thought) why is the GIP needed? If skytraks license check is linked to skygolfs website and from what protee said that Is where TGC will be purchased from when released by them, why would the GIP be needed if you are buying the software outright. If they only allow subscriptions I can see where they can roll GIP into pricing but not if purchasing other software. Just trying to understand the need for it since they license check to see if you have GIP or not to begin with but are still able to use the basic driving range. Can you answer SkyTrak_Seth.

This has been answered in the GIP thread already but here the short version. While WGT uses the skytrak app all the other sims still need the integration software or software development kit (SDK) from skytrak to make it talk to there sim. This software will be included in the sim software but is supplied from skytrak for each sim. The GIP will unlock the special features in the skytrak app as well pay for the integration software for all sim options. Smart move on skytrak site to have continues revenue, sucks for us but smart business on there site.
