How easy is it to alternate between left and right handed play. Could you play a round alternating between left and right handed players. Do you need to re calibrate when switching

luv2golf, there is no issue regarding readings with what you are doing. We simply read what the ball is doing. Sure, nomenclature-wise a righty's cut is a lefty's draw, but the ball flight will be correct regardless. I'm with Bubba, I just don't feel as comfortable swinging with the unit in that position, but that is how I test lefty a lot. (read - proceed at your own risk

Thanks for the reply SkyTrak_Seth. I've been standing over the unit the last 3 sessions I've had and I don't feel there being any issue (at least for me). As mentioned before, I'd feel a toe hit being more troublesome. I haven't found what could possibly harm the unit other than me stepping on it.
Am I missing something here?

One other thought here too........... Am I correct to believe that for PC Sim play you need the mini usb connected from your computer to your skytrak............ Is this correct?
My next question is, how long do you think it might take to break either the end of the USB mini or worse the internal connector for the skytrak. Having to move it back and forth approximately 70 to 80 times seems like can cause a potentially serious problem. I can see someone also potentially swinging and catching the cord (it's going to cross someones path either the righty or lefty).
Just curious how best to tackle these potential issues (assuming we don't swing over the unit). I'd like to know what the OPTIMAL setup would be then SkyTrak_Seth
Thanks in advance.

Solution found to RH and LH play on the skytrak launch monitor
Today, 05:02 AM
Hi everyone here is an answer to anyone who ownes a skytrak launch monitor. No more bending down to turn the skytrak everytime a RH player or a LH player has to shoot it's abit of a pain and Iam sure you would all agree. I've recently purchased a 10" rotating flat plate with ball bearing for a very smooth 360 degree rotation from shopping at Amazon I paid under $30 . The plate is roughly ,625 of an inch, so in order to get it to sit perfectly level to my hitting surface I made a circular cutout in my trustrike mat and dropped the plate inside and leveled the plate. I then placed velcro on the bottom of my skytrak and on my plate and made sure I centered it. Now Iam able to spin the skytrak with my club with ease cause of the ball bearings it's very smooth and no more bending down. I've been playing with my friends and kids who all shoot either right or left and it works amazing you can switch it from RH to LH with total ease with out once bending down and once it's leveled even if you spin it around it still stays leveled all the time. I've included to pictures below of what it looks like.2 Photos

Post and pics are promising Lotus. Problem is the pics are smaller than my... putter head. Very intriguing otherwise. Work on them pics brother...

This is exactly what I was envisioning for my righty/lefty setup but my fear is I may not have enough width. Can you post your dimensions of how big your mat is, width of room, how close would the ball be from the wall facing your back address? Also, is your projector overhead of the skytrak in the middle?

larger picture of rotating disk for skytrak. No more bending down or always having to relevel once the disk is level it doesn't matter which way you spin it it's always level
