That last post makes it really hard to just pull the trigger. I have been torn between Protee and Skytrak for a while now. Can you divulge any info on pricing for any of the sim options be it monthly subscriptions or a 1 time fee??

I can't divulge pricing at this point, but they are all affordable options especially compared to what's out there. There is a blend of monthly/yearly subscriptions and buy-it-you-got-it.

Again, lots of promises but no results. Most of us have been very patient (I've had mine since March).
Firm dates would be appreciated........... AND Stick to IT!!

At this point I feel that Skygolf has us by the short and curly's and honestly, don't really care.
I have a few friends and our pro who are thinking about getting one and I keep telling them to wait, that it's still in beta testing.

THE END USER THAT IS. It's great that we can be guinea pigs and offer up all sorts of advice, but why can't this just be implemented.
It's just alot of toe tapping and back tracking to cover themselves with no results. I'm getting fed up with this.

I have to agree with luv2golf and at Rcush88. Like luv2golf, I've been very patient (had mine since early April) - heck have never even got sync to work and still hanging in there. If there are no improvements in software, customer support, etc. coming very very soon, I am seriously thinking about abandoning this thing and just sell my unit on eBay and buy new one from Japan SkyTrak - I would suggest this as an alternative solution for others who are fed up as well.

In my opinion that would be foolish. The options available there in Japan might be available now. But I can almost guarantee you won't end up with anything close to what is coming here. I have had a brief look at what is coming and so far it will be worth a little wait. When this is released if you could read Japanese you will be able to read the same comments as above on the forums in Japan. You have the right SkyTrak.... Now you just need a little patience. Maybe I should say a little more patience. I know you been waiting and I understand your concern. But when it comes out you will understand why it took a little longer.

Ok Hoosierdaddy and Bubba22, will heed to your advice and wait a little longer - been patient for this long already can't hurt to be patient for just a little longer. Thanks for the advice as this forum has been phenomenal - not only does it provide the support SkyGolf is unable to provide but this type of sharing of differing views/opinions from other users is what makes this site so useful for all.

I feel your pain, I really do! There are things I was expecting months before now...but it's a very complex machine (not the hardware, I'm talking business-wise). The idea of releasing piece-by-piece was just not feasible given how intertwined everything is. So unfortunately, that produced a much longer than anticipated stagnant period, but will result in a tidal wave of new features all at once. Again, I'm not arguing against anything you all are saying - I empathize. In the meantime, I think some beta testers are posting some videos now to the forum.

If I buy a new one, I'm not buying that crumby 99.99 prescription for more cow bell (aka bs). I will get one with a one time buy it if available with a sim package. Anyone want a p3?

                        I second that!

Seth, now you're back online, please take care of the folks who got robbed with the $99 Game Improvement Package (I have my SkyTrak for more than 3 months now and have still not been able to sync so that $99 was a complete rip-off for me - happy to return your $99 e6 balls).

+1, me too please. I regret paying the extra $ - I would like Skygolf to do something to take care of this. Didn't receive the value that I anticipated in the least.

                          Hey All,

Just catching this thread... hope these videos show you that SkyTrak is working on the sim software integrations (we are one of their beta testers ):

I've used my friend's Skytrak (Japanese version) and it's a much better product, However I'm sticking with the US version and giving them a chance for now. I haven't used my ST for probably a few months already. I"m still waiting hoping that this "turn around point" is no more than a month or two away. I don't care about the Sims but I think as a LM, there are a lot of things that needs to be worked on. It's not at the point where PGA pros can use this for swing analysis or club gapping. It should at least have all the capabilities of the Vector which it currently doesn't have. I think many are still having a hard time with setup or at least the uncertainty of proper setup. I think there should be a mode which helps the user determine setup is good (height, level, parallel, etc) There are so many sensors in this unit which can be used to determine each component. Then a test shot will be able to determine whether the ball images are in the best possible position and focus.

Like @jacksonliu, I'm gonna try to stick with my U.S. version of SkyTrak as version 1.9 does seem like a good step in the right direction. However, I do hope U.S. SkyTrak really step up their game and make it worthwhile for all of us who stuck around to help you effectively beta test your product.

Now got a few questions in terms of who's who in this SkyTrak world (maybe SkyTrak/Seth can chime in on this)? Someone on another thread posted this link from a company called ExpandTheRoom (http://expandtheroom.com/case_studies/skytrak/) who apparently helped do a case study on SkyTrak? So who is who and does what from below?

                              1) Rapsodo Pte Ltd - Singapore company I believe developed the SkyTrak unit/hardware. Did they also develop the initial iPad app/software (hence their name shows up when you launch the app)?

                              2) SkyGolf - U.S. distributor of SkyTrak and handles syncing of data from U.S. SkyTrak to their SkyGolf 360. But is SkyGolf also developing (or further developing) the U.S. version of the SkyTrak app or is it someone else or is it still Rapsodo? From what I've gather, we can pinpoint the poor U.S. customer support on SkyGolf (as you've all experienced, their customer support is completely useless). But what about issues with the app? Is it them too? And Seth, who actually is your employer (SkyGolf or someone else developing the SkyTrak software)?

                              3) GPRO Co., Ltd. - Japanese distribution of the Japanese version of SkyTrak (and associated apps, software and accessories) in Japan and rest of Asia. How are they related to XSwing Golf or just purely distributor and provider of customer service?

                              4) XSwing Golf - Developer of some of the software/apps being used with the Japan SkyTrak including the PC sim software I believe?

                              5) ExpandTheRoom - The guys who did the case study on SkyTrak. But who did they work with? Only the U.S. partners like SkyGolf? Or Rapsodo in Singapore too? What about the Japanese guys?

I don't know about others, but I would be interested to know who's who from the above - for my own general knowledge about the product development of my SkyTrak as well as gives me a good idea of who to blame for what (i.e., so far been only able to pinpoint poor U.S. customer service on SkyGolf).
