  • Will Skytrak sort it out?

    I got my new skytrak unit last week. Fired it up on Thursday. It seems I am unlucky that this has coincided with serious problems.

    I managed to set up an account on the iOS app and occasionally I can log in, what it lets me so varies massively but mainly I am stuck on the log in page.

    Workarounds I have found are signing in as a guest or using E6 on demo mode so I have been able to hit some balls but very disappointed by the experience so far.

    I have spoken to the supplier I used for Skytrak and they have said to give it some time for things to get sorted or they will let me exchange the unit for a Mevo+.

    What do you all think?

    I got this from Skytrak yesterday. I did have serious problem when they made the server change but once I was able to log in and followed there online help I was up and running. Have used it twice in the last 3 days with no issues.

    First, we sincerely apologize to any of our users who encountered a service disruption over the course of this maintenance period. From the beginning of this process, our intent was to complete this with very little disruption to our existing members.       The biggest issue is login related. This also applies to their website so I am unable to sort out my subscription. I am a UK user. When I do login it doesn't know what membership I have.

      The advice of close and reopen software is complete garbage. The problem is their end and needs sorting.

          Well everything seemed to be working fine, just lost connection to TGC2019 & won't reconnect. Skytrak software won't find license files. Thinking the servers just got lost??? Anyone else?

          * its working but keeps dropping connection to TGC every few shots or every other shot. Hoping its sorted i out soon

            I purchased mine last week new from Skytrak. It arrived and said the 30day free trial was already expired. I went ahead and bought the game improvement plan and it never associated with my account after the purchase though, I was charged for it and no confirmation email ever arrived. I then tried renewing the basic plan just to use the range and that never worked though the confirmation email arrived. Lots of calls sitting on hold and I opened a ticket and no response and then finally someone answered and they can't figure it out either. The skytrak app is connected fine, the website sees I've got the unit registered but no purchases will associate with my account. The customer service can't figure it out. They are at a dead end.

          I have the same issue. Unable to get to a portal to enter my prepaid membership card from Carl’s Place.

            I now have this exact issue. I updated yesterday and was able to play Creative Golf 3D and TGC19 until TGC19 stopped tonight about an hour ago.

            I opened the Skytrak App and it downloaded a local database update or something. Now nothing works and none of the software, including the App, will locate the unit. The App just keeps having the same “finding license files” at the bottom until Skytrak just turns itself off.

            Almost flawless for 24 months until tonight.

                Have you completed the full password reset & account link for 4.3 update on the Skytrak website? It doesnt sound like your unit is linked to your account anymore if it cant check license files. mine did that for a second but after a power cycle and full account connection it resolved in the skytrak app after signing in, if the servers are active the account should link right up.

                Thanks for the ideas.

                I did the password reset. I didn’t specifically link anything after the 4.3 update unless it does it automatically. I’ll search for that. I also have a call into support so hopefully will hear back.

              I’ve had none stop problems every time I go to renew subscriptions..why is that they can’t have a simple website that works properly ..the old company ! it took me 4 months to solve a purchase problem! And be able to play tgc and now that I have to renew driving range subscription just to play tgc it’s happening all over agian 😔…now the new company has no working support number for us uk costumers yet while there transferring everything over which is disappointing we have to do this by emails which is harder to sort problems out especially the time difference?

                I was able to make it through the last updates and required password renewal last week with minor disruption. Used the unit 3x since then. Now this evening I cannot login quickly or remain logged in. Takes multiple attempts and waiting for 10 minutes if lucky. Got logged in twice. One time even connected with TGC, but as soon as I loaded a course the unit went down @nd couldn’t log back in. Tried calling and chatting support but never reached anyone for assistance. I’m assuming they are having server issues?

                  Having similar issues. Skytrak wouldn’t work, so I completely uninstalled it, then reinstalled with the new software upgrade. Now ST works fine, but can’t get TGC 2019 to work. It will connect to my ST box (i.e. finds both licenses), but as soon as I click “Play Game”, it closes the TGC program down. Is this a Skytrak issue or TGC issue?? Haven’t had a problem with either for over 4 years, until now.

                    Instead of clicking play game click the TGC2019 icon at the bottom of the screen. Worth a shot, I remember having issues until I went directly to the program and stopped using the Play Game button in the interface.
