Skytrak/TGC 2019 data questions

I purchased Skytrak and TGC2019 in January 2021. I have a few questions and wondering if you or anyone can answer: 1. For Skytrak driving range, what should the delay time be from making contact with the ball to data being displayed? 2. Same question for TGC2019 since there is more data displayed, what should the delay time be from making contact with the ball to data being displayed? 3. For both Skytrak and TGC2019, a club is listed in the top right corner of the screen. Why? Is there a correlation between club listed and actual club being used? Distance? Launch Angle? 4. When hitting, there are times the Skytrak does not register the data to be displayed. The light from skytrak disappears as if it read contact, but then light returns on mat with no data. I place the ball at same location and it occurs too much it seems.

I have the same set up, Skytrak with TGC 2019. The delay seems the same for both. I normally strike the ball, kind of think to myself for a split second on how it felt, then look up and I see the ball take off. (I actually like the delay) The club showing in the top right corner means nothing, it is carry over from the video game. However, you do have to select "putter" if you putt from off the green.

I think the laser is being triggered but the ball is not being viewed by both cameras when that happens. Do you hit really low or really high shots? Trying moving the ball forward about 3/4" from the laser (closer to impact screen) for wedge style shots and move the ball rearward for lower shots. This should help you quite a bit.

Does anyone think the response time has longer delay after making contact with ball when playing TGC 2019. Since the move to golftec, I feel there is more of a delay. I know nothing has supposedly changed, but there seems to be more of a delay. Any thoughts? For anyone that responds, how long of a delay are you experiencing from the time you make contact to the ball to the time the shot shows it is hit on the screen?

I've noticed that the TGC range does seems to be a little bit slower at responding than the Skytrak range. Nothing that's a problem, but just seems to be an extra beat before the ball flies on screen.

Just finished 18 holes myself for the evening. I will agree with others, the shots are taking a few seconds longer to calculate & play thru in TGC2019. Before usually by the time i'd go retrieve my ball, the PC had started the flight process and i usually only caught the last bit of the balls flight (apex to landing). But now i can retrieve the ball & make it back to my mat & watch the whole sequence. It seems worse on well struck shots & putts. Also noticed a few putt misreads & i haven't had any of those in a very long time. A few times i was curious if it even caught anything at all, I'd set the ball down to go again before it even took off.

Maybe just some growing pains, but it is acting a little slower

Not sure if you are suspecting update, but I don't think it can possibly be. The update did not touch the firmware. Nor the TGC2019 interface. As such, no connection between update and playing TGC2019 with Skytrak. Skytrak range doesn't even need to be installed.

TGC2019 delay is longer, all else the same. I think I am 2.25 sec Skytrak range, and 2.85 sec TGC2019.

I don't think the extra delay for TGC2019 has anything to do with sending more data between Skytrak and PC, probably some processing in the TGC2019.

2 seconds is the absolute minimum delay possible when using a Skytrak, and requires fast PC.
