I have the Ultimate Monster mat. Is this really a problem? Of course a fat shot will catch and slow down, but I like that feedback. On a proper strike, the ball is gone before the club touches the mat, correct?

I dont know if he is right or wrong, but I also have the Monster Tee mat and my iron shots average 10-20 yards short in Skytrak.

For example, my 9-iron in real life carries about 120. I hit 123 9-iron shots yesterday in the Skytrak driving range, and the average was 105 yards carry.


Drivers or anything hit off a tee read very close to my real-life, outside, distances.


Based on this, I ordered the Country Club Elite mat from amazon yesterday.

Trying to find a topic on this, but has anyone used any of the mats that simulate a bunker shot? I am thinking about getting something like that to use with WGT, but not sure how well they work? Any thoughts?

I just got the Commercial Driving Range mat from AllTurfMats. It's 1/2 inch thick, very soft and love it! It's more like hitting from the fairway. This 5' x 5' mat is awesome and a great price! See link:

Also, the Tomahawk Neo tees are the best to use in a golf simulator room. You don't have to stick them into the mat and you don't have to worry about sharp pointed tees flying around hitting your friends...haha! Check them out at:

Wbond, Which isnt close the Countr Club elite vs p3 mat or the truestrike. I like the idea of the tees for country club elite because i feel it would make skytrak more accurate.

I've hit offf both the CCE and True strike and I bought the true strike mat. My optishot last year gave me bad tendonitis with the hard surface. I found for give, the true strike was the best for me. Yes, it's a bit more costly, but all you need is the strip and I paid $250 including shipping. Not $750.00

It's not even close to the p3mat. It's much softer, easier on the wrists and it takes normal tees.

Gotta pay 23.00 for non Costco member total would be over 500.00.
Does the country club elite feel any different than what I have now in the p3mat?
