SkyTrak Game Improvement Package

This is great but i'm a little worried about my initial game improvement package purchase. I was on of the first orders (pre ordered October of last year) and included the game improvement package. No where was it listed as a subscription and I also had this confirmed through an online chat with a skytrak rep that it was a one time fee. Reading this I don't know what to make of it or why I was sold something under false pretense. I'm a huge skytrak fan but this worries me.

I'm now super frustrated. Not only have I never been able to get my SkyTrak to sync, and have received zero support from SkyGolf whatsoever. Now some useless chat representative Robert Rhodes is telling me I'm no longer getting my freakin' Golf Magazine subscription - this is one month after another representative Michael Higgins told me the magazine subscription is one its way. Their support is really completely useless. So basically $99 for a dozen Bridgestone E6 golf balls. This is CLEARLY CONSUMER FRAUD - so anyone interested I'm happy to lead a class action lawsuit against SkyGolf for this deliberate consumer fraud!

Good Luck with that, $100.00 bucks isnt worth hiring a lawyer over. I know their customer service SUCKS right now but the damn thing is accurate. Just give it more time or send it back like me and wait until they have a simulator to go with it and when they fix roll out.

I also think the 99.00 a year is an awful deal, you don't get anything more out of it and gc2 and trackman dont and are very successful.

1) Just venting my frustrations - their customer service is pathetically horrible! You get frustrated just thinking you might have to speak to them even before you contact them. Maybe SkyGolf's strategy is to provide horrible customer service so no one dares (or have the energy and sanity) to contact them with issues/complaints.

Still working on it, but will probably be announced when WGT is released. Within a month. It is in beta now (even with several forum members) and testing well.

At least things are now looking like theyre being put in place. WIth TGC pricing being set as of 1st Oct hopefully wont have to wait too long until we can have some direct pricing.

At moment looks like Skytrak GI package essential at $100, so I would say at the moment its:

WGT at $100 a year, (plus $100 GI)
TGC at $1000 lifetime or $479/year(plus what ever Skytrak adds on top for their SDK, Im hoping this is just included as part of the GI package at $100 per year)
E6 at $1850 lifetime (Again will it need GI package,??)

WGT seems to priced pretty fairly really, especially if you have to pay the $100 a year GI package in order to use TGC or E6

Could make for a very interesting next couple of weeks when hopefully will get some firmer details.

I am also one of early purchasers last year. At that time, there was a lot of confusion among ourselves due to inconsistent answers from different customer representatives via chatting. I personally got a response saying that Game Improvement package is a subscription.

No email here. I figure that will be within the next couple of weeks or days depending on the release of v2.0 of the app which I believe comes with a firmware update. If I recall from a previous post that update will be needed since it will improve putting. According to SkyTrak_Seth they "might" be submitting the upgrade ipad app to Apple today for approval so that will take a week or so to get approved if it does.. Just waiting to see if Seth will be posting the link for PC today but that was addressed in the PC & Android thread. Fingers crossed

I saw a post from Seth a while ago that stated that the GI package will be needed in order to use sim play and will be a yearly thing. If I trust one guy it's Seth. He knows what he is talking about.

I see they now removed the WGT under the menu 'learn more'. You can still access it, by visiting the page directly. learn-more/wgt (btw I tried learn-more/tgc & learn-more/e6 but no worky ))
