I wonder if there is enough of us to get together for legal action? Maybe a new thread?

I totally agree. It's like buying a new car and paying more for some extra features like a fancy communication software package, but after leaving the dealership you realized the GPS doesn't really work or onboard computer is not functioning properly, you call the dealer but they just don't seem to care... And the biggest slap in the face is at least the car dealers are not charging you an annual fee for the supposedly fancy package that does not work as described...

New UK user (lovely Xmas present) but I too have the same 'waiting to sync' issue. If I start from scratch (by re-installing the app) and running in network mode then (apart from too many missed shots) I don't seem to have a problem. However if I use the ST in direct mode and then try and sync when back on a wi-fi network two things happen - firstly it does not sync, no matter how long I leave it, and second if its still waiting to sync when I use it again in network mode the ball flight tracker takes over 30 seconds to complete its flight, stop/starting a couple of times and almost freezing in flight.

The only solution to get rid of the waiting to sync issue - please return to the start of my post and .......re-install the app! But then you lose all the data!

There seem to be too many users on this forum, on both sides of the pond, for this to be a country specific or individual user issue. Hopefully Seth or SkyTrak_Seth will help us all soon. Its a great bit of kit, but these are bugs that should have been sorted by now.

Agree w dsailer. SkyTrak_Seth, can we get a fix for this or at least recognize it's a problem that needs to be fixed ASAP. Thanks.

If connected to WIFI, it syncs right away and probably marks it in the local database as "synced". On the range, it goes in the database "unsynced" and the process that goes thru the database and syncs is broken.

That's what I think anyway. This could help explain why, once you start having sync issues, it gets worse. I suspect by now I have a few hundred shots "unsynced" locally. Not that that should matter - it's really a tiny amount of data.

    Right,
I hit a couple shots today on the home network & within 20 seconds they were showing on the web.
The ones from the session last night at the range didn't sync though! Left it 24 hours now & nothing. The iPad has been on all day.

So off to the range again & guess what, the data won't sync once I've come back.

So, I setup at home & hit 1 ball out of the patio doors ( as it's raining AGAIN) & as soon as I'd finished the session, it was up on the web .

The session from the range tonight still is waiting to sync though!!

    Any thoughts any one?

Seth, is there any log files you can look at which would say why it's not syncing as soon as it's removed from the home network?
Btw, can we have an export to CSV as well as PDF.
To get round the problems, I've been exporting all data but it's a pain converting a PDF to excel. Just a thought!
