SkyTrak v2.1 PC Release

Got an email from skygolf yesterday informing me that skytrak for pc is now available. Is that a newer release than what was posted last week?
Funny thing is I have a buddy that has been interested in skytrak that got this email too. I keep telling him to wait to buy until there is a sim that works. He said yesterday he would have to buy the senior Skytrak at this rate...

My question as well.

Is this a new version of the PC version and if so how do we update it?

I read on another post from SkyTrak_Seth that 2.1.1 would drop soon for pc. Just wondering if this is it?

The one on the website appears to be the old one. When you download it and go to install, it says its version 2.1.0

I tried emailing them at the unsubscribe link and of course changed the subject line and asked if this means they will soon be integrating with other sim software. A gentleman was nice enough to reply that they were going to release E6 this week but Trugolf had other things come up and it couldnt get done. He also mentioned it is in Trugolfs court now. He also mentioned they were working on other sim software companies that from even old comments on here at least includes TGC though its hard to believe they couldnt get it done in over a year since such comments. I also asked about previous comments on here about having the PC version (2 weeks ago) before this announcement and he said they would be beta testers. I am new to this forum so not sure how all this works. I wanted to share though when he said it was supposed to be this week it must be very imminent. It gives time to see perhaps what Ersnt comes up with on the E16 that Bubba22 mentions.

Not to sidetrack this one, but have you tried the e6 demo. Unless they fix the fringe issue being close to the pin, it's something you may want to hold off on.

What about the IOS version? I have windows 10 and the skytrak won't load without loading e6 first then quitting. To me the software doesn't work for my PC so I would like to see it on IOS. Is that in the works too? Sorry if I have a tone, still really frustrated with alot of 'I'll post another update here soon............'

Does 2.1.1 have the ability to level the unit?

I downloaded 2.1.1 and still have the same issue where the first 2-4 shots hit in the Skytrak Range pause in mid-air every 20 yards (for 1-2 seconds per pause) with "waiting to sync" message displayed at the top.

After the first "Sync completed" pops up, all subsequent shots display normally with no lag/pauses.

i'd be interested to know if you're connected via wi-fi and if your wi-fi connection is strong where your hitting balls at. or you hitting with the direct cord to skytrak or its wi fi?


i only use a direct cord myself and dont get any lag with shots other than the initial processing of the shot.

I have strong wifi (router is only about 30 feet from skytrak), skytrak is in direct mode, laptop and skytrak are on same wifi network.

Everything worked fine with the PC beta. THis issue started with 2.1.

Loaded up V 2.1.1 - Nothing in the foreground changed that I can see. No leveling information.

i would try with a direct wire connection. not saying you dont have a strong wifi but you dont realize how much communication data windows trys to send all the time. i only know this from personal experience.
