Nice work on the higher ball speed readings. My ball speeds now match exactly that of my previous GC2. Got the update just in time to compare my current gamer to a new driver I picked up.

Hey Seth,

My apologies if this has already been answered. I did a search but couldn't find the info again. There was mention that we may see apex height and angle of descent in a future version of the Skytrak range app. I won't ask for a timeline, but is there any substance to that?

Luv, if you waited until this update came out you would be pleased. Not all of us have 5,000.00 lying around and don't need more than e6 or wgt. I will enjoy this because it's within my means, it's accurate and I find wgt is great. If you don't have anything nice to say then keep it to yourself. Seth is doing all he can with probably limited resources compared to foresight, track man and others. I'm not trying to sound like a dick but give it a rest. We know GC2 is the bomb and it should be for $4000-8000 or whatever.

I'm not following how the update is night and day. Can you provide some specifics? I haven't been using the iPad for a while so my experience has only been on the PC which had 2.1.1 updated last week. I haven't seen much difference at all. What is it that's so different? SkyTrak_Seth has already stated that the ball speeds weren't effected by this update.

SkyTrak_Seth another one for me for future releases is to add dispersion circles that contain all shots for each club hit during a session. This would be really useful for club fitting for sure. I know you can see the average, but the dispersion circles really show your playability with each club. I thought this was an awesome feature on the foresight range.

Hmmm interesting. My BS is now consistently 4-5 mph faster with my woods. Maybe I'm just finally getting more comfortable swinging indoors, or I'm possibly more fresh since I haven't had time to hit any balls lately. Well nice work regardless. Now I don't have to up the wind, altitude, etc.

I think they mean the altitude and temperature settings doublebogey, not resetting the unit.

How so? Give us examples, very specific examples please... There's way too much that has to be corrected with ST from all the earlier postings I've seen and read up on. Also, see my posts above RE: delays in showing ball flight for simulation use.

Were the distance algorithms tweaked with this latest update? I seemed to have gained 10-30 yards on shots compared with previous version? The numbers seem closer to what my real life distances are so just curious.

Anybody done side by sides with other units with the new software update to see if distances are spot on?

I downloaded the update and just upgraded from the 2.0. Nice work., This upgrade seems to have fixed the Lefty issued and seems like my distances are very close, My question is that in a earlier post someone posted a picture of a differant interface that had round gauges?. I uninstalled and re loaded but mine hace the same interfase as 2.0 and the PC version, Am i missing something?. I checked my IOS version and is is the 2.1.1.. so just wondering about the new or is it? interface for IOS 2.1.1

The cycle times between shots is very much improved now. This is the biggest change for me. My unit used to sit at red/green/green for 20 seconds after the ball flight was shown and the iPhone app was done. And it seems to do a better job staying connected - I was having all kinds of issues there. Prior to this release, I was getting to the point I didn't even want to use it.

It did stop registering shots for me once though, which it has done on the past, so this is still an issue. I have to restart the app to fix that.

All in all, a great release.

Was the bug for displayed battery level fixed? There's no more displayed value but the green bar does not go full. Anyone else notice this and not get a full bar?

In the software yes. Still working on the hardware side. The battery should still be performing as it should.

It's an issue with hardware and not software? Battery, circuit board? How could the battery still be performing as it should if it's hardware and not just software reporting accurate levels?
That would seem difficult to remedy all the units out. What would the process be?

You don't have to reset anything. My comment was referring to increasing the wind, altitude, humidity, etc in order to get the proper distances. That's no longer needed after the update.
