ProTee: Is TGC being worked to add multiple tee boxes? This is one of the biggest concerns I have with TGC? I would like to know it's being developed in future release. Thanks!

It is 100% being worked on. It's a big thing to change it.

mthunt, do you say this knowing that ProTee is busy working on this on their end? I always thought it needed to be done on the HB-Studios end and based on this post by an HB admin I don't get the sense that it is likely to come anytime soon (if ever). Hopefully this is something that ProTee could do without HB-Studios and that it is being worked on however I haven't heard anything concrete from ProTee in that regard just yet. Even if they could do something, I don't really know how they could do it without having the designers of courses being actively involved of setting tees during the course creation.

It's not a protee thing. It's HB. It was my understanding it was possible and on the radar. Personally, I couldn't care less about multiple tees.

It may have been asked and answered, but what should I look for in a laptop if I am going to purchase TGC? Is it the memory, or the video card, or the processor, or all 3? Trying to figure out if my current laptop will do the trick or not - is there a speedtest or something I could evaluate my PC against?

Thank you. I stopped on the way home from work and bought a machine with the recommended specs on the skytrak site ( actually a little bit more than recommended - just in case ). One problem solved....

@Skyukon--the graphics card is the most critical--most processors will handle the processing needs. An i5 clearly works. I have a laptop with an i7 and an Nvidia gtx985m and it plays the Steam version of TGC on the highest settings perfectly. That said, and it is important to note that the laptop Nvidia cards are not exactly comparable to the equivalent numbered card for non-laptops. For example, a gtx985m (laptop version) is not as powerful as a gtx985ti desktop Nvidia card.

liturbo - what kind of laptop do you have and how much was it? I've never heard of one running that high-end of a graphics card, I suspect it's a high-end laptop?

Great advice all. I checked with the store where I bought my laptop and it does not have a gaming card, and I can't change it, as pointed out. I like the idea of a gaming desktop - seems a better $ solution!

Brettster, it is an Asus ROG with a 17"screen, 1T drive, 256 ssd, an i7 and a GTX980M Nvidia graphics card (correction from my above post). It runs about $2,200 but the 2014 model can sometimes be purchased on sale around $1,550-$1,600 which is what I did. The machine got great ratings, runs super cool, no fan noise and runs TGC perfectly on steam with every setting turned all the way up. The machine weighs about 9 plus lbs and is pretty large but I needed a laptop and this suits my needs perfectly

Is the annual subscription still a 2 years and done or did that just get dropped? I see no mention of it. I thought it was annual sub for 2 years then you own it.

Alienator, That is what we were told in an earlier post. The total cost would have been higher than the outright purchase but offered people a way to pay for it over time. It doesn't appear that that option exists on the Skygolf order page.

How do you manually select Putting Mode if on fringe? I don't see a button to switch it in TGC? Can someone explain how this is done. Thanks!

SkyTrak_Seth Seth you may want to pass along to the higher ups and let them know that people have been purchasing TGC and have not been getting emails for downloads. Online assistance cannot help us at all only via phone which happens to be closed by the time most of us get home from work. Very disappointing

this sounds like a pro tee issue, sounds like they are manually providing codes for people and sending those emails. for introduction on the first day of the software this should of been overstaffed just incase.

How do I save a course to my favorites?

There is a little thumbs up symbol near the course title. Click on that, it will turn red and now it's your favorite. click it again and it will turn gray removing it from your favorites.

I've been playing TGC tonight. Very impressed with putting. It's really accurate. Soft chips and putting on fringe work really well! Very happy with TGC. But I am still having my no read issue. I lost connection to Skytrak twice. Rebooted and still couldn't connect. Had to Exit the game and Connect it again using Skytrak interface.
