Yes it is. That is what I have. You'll have to play it on medium settings.

With that video card, you will have to turn your settings way down. Macs have a tough time gaming. Turn the tree quality and distance down and stick to detail level 1. A $900 gaming PC will handle TGC with ease. Check out the recommended PC specs for TGC.

are you playing over a wired or wireless network. Tried the stream version to see how the computer handled everything and it was very choppy until I cranked all settings down to about nothing. how is yours setup?

Wooohooooo doubly exciting today....I get to purchase TGC and I have an 8:19 tee off at Polo Trace in Delray Beach. Today is the day I find out if all the Skytrak practice sessions since November coupled with tons of lessons pay off.

Now that TGC is available for Skytrak, we are sure to get a ton of questions about courses. Keep in mind that of the 90k+ courses, most are crap. Of the good ones, many are not well suited for simulator play. Over at The Golf Club Forum I have two threads that are stickies. One is my TGC Real Course List and the other is my TGC Fictional Course List. I keep both lists updated (although I am going on vacation on Friday for a week) and try and use the exact name of the course. You don't have to enter the full course name but if you type in one word you at least know which course to look for (if you type in Sawgrass you'll know you want the TPC at Sawgrass (ProTee) since that is the one on the list). For the fictional list I try and include the best designed courses that have been shortened. If you are able to play courses at 7000 yards plus, you can just head over to the HB-Studios forum and keep your eyes on the Completed Courses forum. For the rest of us, I pull out the well designed courses that have been shortened for simulator play..

Is there any type of a manual for TGC explaining all the hot keys, shortcuts, setups etc?

Yay! Got back from Mexico last night. Just now purchased TGC and got my activation code immediately. I took Wednesday off so I could "unwind" from my trip, muahahaha. Time to install some software!

Hah. Well perhaps, they might owe me one for some other reasons that I won't discuss, but I'm very excited to start playing. Waiting for protee license now!!

Does TGC have a boost feature ? I am currently using foam balls in my office and would like to add 20/30% to each shot.

I also have an indoor setup using limited action balls and would like the 20-30% boost. Where is the boost function located?

I'd love to use the boost feature too... have my two sons playing with me and they could use it... can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I know I read this somewhere prior to release. Is there still an option to buy the annual pass for 2 years then own the software outright? Without a demo option I'm sure that there is hesitancy from some to pay $900 for this software with the limited feedback that we've seen and with the issues that are cropping up with shots not registering etc.

Like a lot of other things that option got swept under the rug. I know for a fact an official poster said it was a pay for two years and done deal or pay for the whole thing up front and save a little, now the pay for two years and done isn't even an option. Kinda shady honestly.

So I'm really confused here. I have installed everything and registered/activated skytrak. When I launch the game with skytrak plugged in it doesn't recognize it and just stays on red/yellow lights. Any help would be appreciated. The skytrak range works fine plugged in and I've tried everything else I could think of. Thanks.

          Edit....bad USB vable.... Duh

Bad USB cable but it worked on the Skytrak Range? I was having issues connecting to the E6 demo and I am wondering if I had the same problem. I am using the orignal cable provided as well as an extender cable that was brand new.

Played a couple tgc rounds; found it difficult but fun. A couple questions-

            1) Is there a way to automatically dismiss the scorecard after each hole? I don't like hitting enter on the keyboard after every hole. I'd rather pickup the ball, put it on the dot for the next hole, etc. Just wait 5 sec, then go onto the next tee. I found the setting that dismisses the shot data; would like a similar option with the scorecard.
            2) Club distances. Can you change the 'default' distances for club selection? As much as I wish I could carry 265 with the driver, it ain't happenin'. More like 210. I just ignore those club selections, because I dislike needing to mess with the keyboard at each shot. It would be great if you never (or almost never) needed to mess with the keyboard during a round.

It is very keyboard centric. I'd like to be able to see how to do these things as well.

Unfortunately at this point neither of those two things are available. The club selection doesn't matter unless you are putting off the green or chipping on the green (and I guess the sound the game makes when it hits the ball). The main reason I change clubs is to zoom in and see what is occurring. I find it helpful to set the club to 170 to see the green and then drop it to 160 and 150 and zoom to see how far I want to carry it.

Today I'm getting this iPad stand from Amazon and will use it along with Mike80's remote screen so I can hit this stuff right from my hitting area. I hope to play round 2 of the Honda Classic tonight with this setup and assuming I do I'll post my round on my YouTube channel so you can see how it works and if you are interested in doing something similar. Luckily I have an extra iPad I barely ever use so I can just leave it in my simulator room.

Those are great suggestions. Post them in the top 5 most important features. I think that #2 is already in there. #1 is a great idea.... could add a timer....3 sec, 5 second, off, on. I really would like #2 plus the ability to make a custom bag, hybrids, gap wedges etc.

Agreed on 1, it is annoying.
2 would be a nice to have.

I can't believe that 1 isn't an option already. Having to use a keyboard every hole would be extremely anoying.
