  • New computer = new TGC license?

Tax time was good to me, so I got the gaming rig as a gift to myself. I deactivated TGC and uninstalled it on the old computer, and installed it on the new one. Go to put in my license key and it won't work. Is the license key tied to a single machine?

I replied to the support ticket that had my license key and sent the new machine ID. I hope it is a quick turnaround.

yes this is most likely to prevent sharing of keys to play the game. i imagine its individualized.

You must be able to cancel it on one machine then place on another. Otherwise I am screwed if my machine ever breaks or I wish to sell my licence.

I did the first part. It does seem overkill to have a license tied to a single machine instead of just a simple check to ensure the license is not already in use.

License is married to a computer but can be transferred to another user or pc if needed. Make sure you keep it in a safe place.

I accessed my license key from your support website as I was having trouble copying it through webmail. I assume that my license remains on file with Protee in addition with my contact information for perpetuity in case my electronic and paper copies were ever misplaced.

ProTee United any chance you could take a look at this today? I have friends wanting to play TGC with me and we can only do so on weekends.

We received a request from someone for exactly the same, who we send a new key today. You will need to PM some more info. We have no st_golfer on file.
