The problem with putting is the SkyTrak will on low speed putts not correctly read the launch direction. we are going to push a new build with a grading scale of reduction so as you hit the ball harder we move closer to using the skytrak launch direction.

Ok, the PG Sim Console App should launch immediately. If it does not you can launch it manually from the following places

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Apps\PGSimConsole (32bit)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Apps\PGSimConsole (64bit)

hey guys i keep gettgin the

unable to connect to game....tcpc no connection could be made becaues the target machine activily refused it 127.0.0.1:27019

also says " has user future perfect golf functionality false"

you know I wish there was more documentation for this stuff... not that I dont mind figuring it out myself and its more rewarding but its just annoying


here are the steps if you're having problems to PG

open jack nick perfect golf
click settings
click swing type
get to simulation
click sim type
get to skytrak
then that dialog box should pop up??
connect to skytrak etc. toggle handedness etc.

So to be clear, putting is really hard at low speeds. It seems to go right / left for no reason. Cant hit a putt soft enough from 6-12 inches. Seems to go over the cup every time,

Going over the cup rather than falling in is a weakness in PG physics around the cup not related to Skytrak's shortcomings when putting. I've seen this on longer puts and with a GC2. It's been around for a while. So that part might improve over time.

How well sims can deal with Skytrak's putting weaknesses remains to be seen, however in general TGC seems to be better so I think PG will figure out better approaches in time also. Andrews latest proposal mentioned above seems like a good idea to me.

I believe an update is scheduled tonight to address this issue. Plz don't shoot the messenger boy... just posting what I read on the other forum If it's late, sobeit, no-one else has promised it

Yes it will be out very soon

IF the target machine actively refused it it is usually because there is already a connection pending. Many people who see this do so because they click on the connect to perfect golf button while it is already trying to connect since the whole process should occur without any user input.

it acutally occured because the game itself didnt have the skytrak connected as a controller, and while youre here. putting is just unrealistic. even at a stimp 14. just keeps rolling. i get it, its hard to get right, but i just hope to get it in the 8 foot gimme area.

I found one that worked. Alt - F4, then load up TGC

To close the loop on some of the putting problems with the previous build, the new public build is in place and IMHO putting is behaving great.

I hope you're right. I dont even putt it is so bad I just use autoputt. Problem is even the autoputt doesn't work worth a crap for me, I find myself trying to double click at just the right speed to get it to go for at least 30 seconds every time before I get it to register.

While we are talking about putting when I try to change the line of a putt with the arrow keys it jumps wildly to the opposite side of the arrow key I push. I have had it jump almost 180 degrees a few times, Anyone else have this happen or is it an issue with the controller I am using?

I just wish they would add an option to automatically auto putt every hole so I can just skip it honestly. Putting for sim purposes is one thing but I just use perfect golf for practice at this point and putting on the game with the unrealistic speeds I get on my hitting mat is doing nothing to help my real game.

Have you tried the new version through Steam? both the putting left-right arrows and putting problems should be better.

I checked out the putting improvements tonight, and I like them a lot. I had been doing a lot of auto-putt play lately because of the problems getting the correct speed figured out, but I'm going to go back to putting on the greens. I don't use either the grid or the keyboard to aim since I like to use the break-line-indicator with the mouse. Aiming this way seems more natural and more like real golf to me.

Can someone please advise me is you need to select the club in perfect golf as i seem to be having massive yardage issues with skytrak and perfect golf? Thanks in advance

No need to select the club. Do you get the same distance discrepancies when using the Skytrak driving range app? Have you confirmed that you aren't one of the many people who hit the ball much shorter indoors, than outside?

Nope the sky trak range goes the distance that I would expect but in perfect golf I'm having issues. Going to have another bash tomorrow for a few hours to see if still having same issues

Just saw Perfect Golf just released Muirfield Village. Was wondering if anyone has played it yet?

I know every post of mine is crying about something and the majority of the stuff where mistakes by me but in need help...just purchased PG and i cant for the life of me get PG or skytrak app on my PC to connect to my skytraks. Ive tried everything suggestion that i have found (or at least understood) and spent and hour and a half with skygolf tech support with still no resolution. Skytrak and wgt work fine on ipad and i even pulled out an old laptop (under graphiced, i5, windows 7) and it would connect to app after i downloaded it ( didnt try to load PG on it cux its so old). PG works on new PC (i7, windows 10 new install and gtx1080)), but with mouse not skytraks. tried usb (see skytraks almost as a drive) but wont connect. tried direct, network, reset and unistall everything, Any help would be great

If the skytrak hooks up to ipad app and wgt just fine in network mode, would you really need to hard reset skytrak to sync with skytrak pc app? Not that i didnt try both ways to get it to sync with skytrak pc app and still doesnt work. i swear it has to be some stupid setting on the pc that i dont know about. by the way i did disable all firewalls in windows defender an tried it like that as well and it didnt work.
