Skytrak Battery Issues?

I have a Skypro device that has a polymer litheum battery.
It developed problems and may cost money for a replacement from SkyCaddie (to thirds of a new unit).

I'm considering the Skytrak but I'm worried that it has the same battery which will give the working life of the unit a couple of years or so.

A replacement Skytrak would be a costly amount no doubt.

Has anyone had any battery issues or know if it's the same battery only on a larger scale?

I have not any issues but my skytrak is only about 3 weeks old.
