Been lurking for a while here, and now that my first born is due any day now, I figure I better get a sim setup so I don't lose all my skills since my golf time will be severely reduced.
I'm going to go with the Skytrak + TGC setup with a projector and impact screen (might use an old white comforter? Will that work?
Will be in my garage. Plenty of height, 19 feet long and about 9.5 feet wide (my side of garage)
Now, I read a post that I can't seem to find, where someone has TGC running off a computer from inside their house and somehow has bluetoothed it through to their projector in the garage. The wife has been on board with us getting a new iMAC desktop computer for the family. If I can use this, I won't have to buy a separate PC for my sim room. Is this doable?
The desktop will be about 20 feet away (through a floorboard) from the projector. Router sits in between the two so it shouldn't have trouble getting a strong signal.
Is this doable? I will still need an ipad right? My wife has a newer one that I think I can use.
Sorry for all the questions, just reading around here getting the most knowledge as possible before I start my room!
Looking forward to joining the tour on here in a few months, really excited!
Thanks!
