    All,

    I want to get out ahead of this and give you a heads up. We have received reports and verified a crash bug with the iPhone 6s (appears isolated to this model only) on the new software update. Please bear with us as we resolve this ASAP. I'll post in this thread any and all updates.

    With the holiday coming up, in case this is not immediately fixable, please let me know if the 6s is your only means to use SkyTrak. If so, I will find a way to get you back on an older version so you are not down over the weekend.

    Where is the "approved list" of devices? Are you referring to the iPhone 6s or Is the iPad Pro not on the approved list as well? I'm just curious because on the Skytrak website for specs and requirements it states:

    Hardware Compatibility

    iOS:

    SkyTrak requires 3D graphics support. The following passed compatibility testing:
    • iPad Air
    • iPad Air 2
    • iPad Mini 2 (with Retina Display)
    • iPad Mini 3
    • iPad Mini 4
    • iPad Pro

      I was referring to both (in the FAQ's), but it appears the Pro made its way on there somewhere. I apologize, but looks like we are finally moving forward.

    Everyone, just wanted to give you heads up that we have resolved the crash issue with Apple and Unity. We are submitting to Apple for expedited review and I will let you know when it is ready. The back and forth to revert many of you involved in this thread has not panned out in a timely manner (I only received 1 accepted invite to hockey app). So this is probably the next best step. After this resolution, I believe I can add iPhone 6s and iPad Pro to the official approved list of devices, so at least that is one silver lining. Thanks again for your patience.

      What will we have to do when it is ready? Will our devices automatically update and fix itself?

      Yep, assuming you have auto update turned on. Otherwise I'll just post when it's ready and you can manually update.

      Hi Skytrak, I got the same issue with my Iphone 6S. Glad to see that you manage the pb. To understand well, the update will be a skytrak one (V2.5.2?) or apple one (9.3.6?). Do you have timeline? Thanks to you

          Hey guys, we are approved! Before releasing this publicly, I'd like to distribute it to all of you that experienced the issue via Promo Code, similar to how we did the pre-release. Because we seemed to have some trouble with private messages, can you please just respond in this thread "I would like a promo code" and I'll get it to you, rather than you having to PM me first. I will comb through the thread and go ahead and send to everyone who has already posted, plus do the same for my PM's. This will be version v2.5.2. Thanks!

                  Wait, I sent one via private message to this screenname, also another to a screenname the same as the email address you just posted...how many accounts do you have here? Can you access those, or does it need to go to email? (also, not sure I'd post your email here, fyi)

                I've updated and did a quick test. Good news is that it doesn't crash when choosing... Practice, challenges, or game improvement anymore.
                BAD news is that it seems buggy. Couple of the bugs I saw in just the short session I had were:
                1) I'm now getting the battery critically low warning..even when it's fully charged. One time I would keep getting the warning and then it wouldn't connect. I had to shut down the Skytrak, turn it back on, it would connect and show well more than 50% charge.
                2) After choosing practice and hitting a couple practice green shots, it was stuck on the practice screen....I couldn't end the session. The tab on the top right wouldn't respond. Had to restart the app.
                3) sync doesn't seem to load my older sessions. Only the session from today is showing.
                4) maybe not related to this version app as it was happening on the older version on my 6s.....initially had problems logging into my user account.

                      I had the low battery indicator problem. Reset the machine then had problems connecting to network mode. Thought delete and reinstall the app forgetting I will need another redeem code. Can you resend me one so I can test further? Thanks.
