How do I join you guys like wbond, etc...? I'm in the 3rd round of Q School, then what?

I shot +18 my first rd then -1 then -4. It basically putts for you from 20 ft in I think.

Just finish your rounds at q school and then play the tournaments. You can also just play tournaments but won't have a HDCP until the 5th round i believe. I would suggest doing q-school just to become familiar with game and to get a hdcp to start.

i don't believe that your handicap will show until the next tournament so if that's the case you can play the tournament and get 2 rounds onto the handicap which would get you the 5 you need for the next tournament, if i am wrong on that someone can correct me

Are there rewind shots aka (mulligans) allowed in the the TGC TOURNAMENTS?

Rewinds are not allowed with the exception of a system mis read. For example.....

Sometimes my system doesn't pick up the odd shot or other factors may cause the shot not to read properly. This may happen once a round or less. For a while there, I was having low launch angle drives occasionally register as putts. I have since changed my camera angles a bit and haven't had that happen for quite a while.

Certain systems like the GC2 will most likely never need a rewind. Rewinds will show up in shot data. Legitimate rewinds are easy to identify. That chip in the video registered at 0.4 mph..... I think. Nobody is that bad from 13 feet out.

My GC2 hasn't had a misread yet. Although I have noticed if you hit escape on the first tee and get the menu up and practice a few shots, it seems to record the shots in the shot tracker but it will not show in the game. So if you are warming up, don't load the round until AFTER you warm up. It will just look like you rewound a bunch of tee shots of the first hole and it will clutter your tour shot data.

If I get hit with a bag of money, I will buy a GC2.... I have a lot invested so for now I will stick with what I have. Data will show a misread with some crazy numbers. I had one off the tee that showed a 29 degree LA with the driver...... it picked up my driver head instead of the ball. I had another where I didn't notice a ball laying in the FOV...... well my 9 yard chip went about 130 yards into the ocean. I think that the ball speed was about 90 mph...... straight into the ocean. You can imagine my shock, when I am expecting to put it close and that happens.

I am not too sure how accurate my LA is when I hit a low ball, but it is pretty close. I use a right angle calculator to verify my LA. It's within 1 degree anyway. If my ball hits the screen at 10 inches from the ground at 12 feet away.... based on a 2.5 inch tee height ... that works out to 3 degree LA. My image is about 12 inches off the ground. Using the shot data....over 225 drives, I averaged just less than 8 degrees LA @163mph. So some go faster and some not so fast. Golftown's GC2 has my ball speed anywhere from 160-180. My drives go further IRL maybe because of the elevation here. We are at 3500 feet above sea level. That should be about 6% further. I have my driver set to match Golftown's GC2 which is set at sea level. However, I have my irons set to match what I hit here in the Calgary area. Elevation here makes for about 1/2 club difference.

you should try my brain damage with my white woods and white shafts on my protee system been getting 1 out of 4 shots maybe correct if its not the h cam misread its the v cam misread over three months of customer support on this with no fix. nothing like a straight shot going 80 to120 yards left, had one shot go three fairways over. just got a new interface from protee engineers and I hope to have a Wednesday mobile connect to finish off final adjustment, praying for this to work or last resort all new woods and hybrids which protee said I might have to do it will be 1500.00. Been eyeing those taylormade M2 woods and hybrids, and if I do that my irons don't match so will have to get those too, maybe this is a blessing in disguise, tried to tell my wife the reason already and she told me to sell my sim and you can go get the clubs. WTH anyone want a mean irish woman she will come with a set of white woods and hybrids....

I will pass on the free wife. Hopefully they fix the issue. ProTee seems to have great service. I think that I will be picking up the GSA sensor mat shortly.... GSA's uses shadow base tech rather than IR sensors. So it would even pick up a baseball bat. False launches are prevented by .... no cam data, no shot. Word has it, that adding the sensor mat to a 2 camera system is very accurate. I will post a review once I have it set up.

Tour handicaps are independent of the game handicap. You need q school or your handicap will be adjusted lower until you have 5

Yes, play the Q-school major (3 rounds) before end of sunday and you will have your tour handicap ready to go. 5 rounds = tour handicap.

not sure if it is down to terrible scoring but i have played both Q School tournaments the 2 round then 3 round but i still do not see a tour handicap in my profile only AVG handicap.

It was a couple of weeks ago I completed both q school. When I go into my name link in tour players everything is NA apart from AVG handicap which is 23. Is this normal?

Handicap seems normal. The others will populate when you have played a tour event. You have not played any tour events yet. Q-School is not a tour event. Favorite course, home course and real life handicap you can set in your forum profile.
