Hi Everyone,
New to the board, just received my skytrak + net return yesterday
Super excited, love the unit so far. Want to get a simulation software.
I'm between TGC and Perfect Golf. Main uses for both:
1) Play variety of courses on my own
2) Have friends over to play friendly matches etc
3) Eventually play online tournaments etc.
I assume both have the ability to do the above. I have read reviews on both, but want some input. I am also scared of the $1k lifetime pricetag on TGC. Thats a huge commitment (I love golf), and I'm scared that in a year or so the novelty of a sim unit wears off. Maybe this fear is unfounded, but I'm sure someone previously shared that sentiment.
As for PG, $250 for the year subscription wouldn't break the bank, if I still love it, I can shell out $1k later for TGC.
Let me know if I have it all wrong and should just jump head first into TGC. Or if buying PG for 1 year $250 is a better move.
Any major pro's or con's for going in each direction?
Thanks!
