+1. I pair mine with a Tee Claw: http://teeclaw.com/ Screw the Tee Claw into your mat and attach the line to the Tomahawk tee so the Tomahawk is easily retrieved and repositioned after each shot. Color makes no difference.

GmanJeff I agree that this is the way to go plus you can cut the tomahawk tees down a notch if they are still to tall for you.

I too go this route, I just wish you could get them a little taller

do the tee claws break easy? i was going to order it but wasn't sure how many i should get. Also, they have a variety of different types. Any suggestions or are they just different colors>

When used with the tomahawk tee, I think the tee claw will never break. The tomahawk tee turns the tee claw into a glorified tether that works really well. The only thing about the tomahawk tee I don't like is that its just slightly lower than I like to normally tee my driver at.

Do the Tomahawk tees give either no reads or a significant misread (i.e. big hook or slice) with the Skytrak? I have tried the white BirTee and I get both of these. I want to order a different kind of winter tee and I am debating between the Tomahawk tees and ones that are just a solid rubber cone.

No hooks or slices for me unless I screw up my swing!

I get those too but when I was hitting balls today, I hit one driver that I thought I hit pretty well. Skytrak said that it hooked by 68 yards. I don't think I could hit a 68 yard draw with my driver no matter how hard I tried. On my next shot, I used a normal tee and hit about a 15 yard draw.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll order the Tomahawk tees tonight.

No issue with tomahawk tees. The swing, well that's an entirely different story.

I started using these because the tomahawks are too high. http://teeclaw.com/ I stick it in then use the small tees that come with the tee claws. My drives go further and get better contact too.
