when i say cradle, i simply mean two pieces of metal/plastic with a u-shape facing up, that you simply set the alignment stick on. like two hooks.

I think the thought would be that the hooks would be designed into the case. See the link and notice the two u hooks on the GC2 case.

I don't see a feature similar being added to my case. Sorry. It adds too much cost to the project. I can add holes for an off the shelf item to be bought and attached to the case. They do sell hooks with threads that can be attached, but I'm not sure that would work for you guys. I plan on using the dart line and there will be holes in the case for that as well. I think that will be sweet when it is fully set up.
I'm getting a case this week to test. Hopefully I can attach the dart line and post some pics of what it looks like.

You're down dmsimm69. I'll send you a PM for you to send me an email address. That other guy @asswisnia is painting a nice picture, however there are some holes in his design/model. I'm working diligently on this, but getting all my ducks lined up before I present it. Lessons learned... Stay tuned consumers, you are to benefit...

Hey guys, uploading the latest design. I've added some features that guys have been asking for. The big thing, the window. It's now fully protective. The other window wasn't. Oh well, gotta roll with it. I also, added tabs with v-notches for an alignment rod. Another biggie is the usb cable protection that I've added. A must for anyone running their system direct. Let me know what you guys think...3 Photos

I'm interested as well. I'm thinking about starting a golf simulator rental business and wanted to use skytrak but the lack of protection scares me. I've had mine for about a year and never hit it because I'm a decent golfer but my wife hit it and scared me to death. Good thing she has very little club head speed. Had a buddy at work destroy his and had to buy a new one.

I live a few hours from the Austin area. We need to hook up on TGC sometime if you play. They're starting to get some group play going.

I need to set that up, just been working on my ball striking. I'm working offshore right now but will be home next Wed and will set it up. I'll send you a message when I have it set up. I live just Northwest of Houston. Meant to put it here, sorry haven't posted in a while.

There's a similar case available for preorder on eBay (ships Jan 15th) for those interested. I think I'm going to pick one up.
FMJ Beta case for ST - comes with prototype black case, three leveling feet and metric screws to attach ST unit. No guarantees that it's good fit any particular purpose except that it's metal, black, and should fit your ST. Just trying to get some out there to people who want one. If you're buying it with an intent to duplicate it and market it, that's really not the intent here, but it is a free country. Units will ship before Jan 15th. | eBay!

LOL! That's sheet tin. My case is made of real metal. 8 lbs, actually. I'm gonna buy one of those so I can test shoot it and show everyone that the window is no more protective than the ST plastic case. It should come with a maximum ballspead rating of 83.
Good luck with your purchase though Akotu

It's not a gauge Akotu. The base is .375".
I think people will appreciate the sturdy base the weight provides. Also, people looking to lock the case down, the thick metal will be adequate. The sheet tin will be ripped out easily.
Another note, the thick metal base allows a thread and the ability to bury the capscrews for a flush seating on the floor if needed.
Finally, that sheet tin is gonna fold up like a cheap walmart lawn chair when a ball comes into contact.

i'm not sure the apparent hostility is productive.
as of the time of this post, we have zero acceptable protection products available for the skytrak. soon, it appears we will have two valid choices.
can't that just be a good thing instead of a dick measuring contest?

LOL! You're absolutely right Thinman. It's very childish. Hostile may be a bit much, but I'm definitely hitting back a bit. However, in the words of my 8 year old, "He started it". Lol!
Honestly, we really outta settle this with a long drive contest. My 7 iron against his. Whoever hits it the longest...Last edited by DirtyGarry24; 12-22-2016, 08:17 PM.
