  • Skytrak and Iphone/MacBook

I think this might have been posted somewhere here on the forum before but it didn't pop up when I did my research.
And I do think it is really worth looking into this if you have MacBook or some other kind of mac you want to use SkyTrak with.

I just got my SkyTrak and while the range works fine so far with my IPhone 6s (lag is absolutely fine) the screen is very small, so it can be hard to read carry distance etc. when the phone is on the floor. I am still upset that there is no software for Mac OS but that's a different story.
So I almost pulled the trigger on an IPad but then I realized I could just mirror my IPhone screen to my MacBook Pro (cable and Quicktime) and now I actually have the SkyTrak app showing full screen on my MacBook. I don't think I am going play courses anytime soon, so I just saved myself a couple of hundred dollars.

Just thought it is worth sharing...

I got the apple fire wire to HDMI adapter for $40 ish and stream it to my Tv or Big Screen projector off the iphone 6S. I have not used mine for a while and just getting it back out and reading up on the options to understand the playing of courses on WGT and TGC and all that. Are you guys using / needing the PC's to do that ??
Just jumped on board with a SkyTrak August 2015 for my birthday present to myself.

I have MacBook Pro with Bootcamp installed and windows 8. TGC works great at 1024 x768 medium setting with no lag. My projector only supports 1024 x 768. I plan to upgrade PC and projector in future but to busy playing golf!

In my office golf studio, I use VMWare Fusion running Windows 10 on my 2015 MacBook Pro for SkyTrak, displayed on a 27" Apple Cinema display. Works great, but pushes the CPU pretty hard (noisy fan).

          hi all,

i've raised a similar thread for Mac and fusion if anyone could take the time to have a read and help me out. that would be great. thanks
Hello, I am trying to use my SkyTrak driving range on VMWare fusion running on my MacBook Pro. I have created a win 10 pro VM, installed the software, connected to the SkyTrak wifi and bridged the networking. However the software will not detect the SkyTrak, the SkyTrak has 1 green and 2 red lights which I believe means it's
