      Trackman has released TPS version 5.1.
      This version supports TGC.

      Download the latest TPS version and TrackMan firmware.

        Sadly no club data for putting. But please send me the beta so I can test it out!

        So I have TPS 5.1 and it is tracking every shot just fine inside TPS.
        I installed TGC through the link you send me and got the license key. Started the game and don't see an option or anything for setting up the Trackman. When I open TPS I don't see a TGC button like you have in the screenshot in the first post.

        Any idea what I am doing wrong?

          In TPS you should see an orange "simulation" button on the top right next to your name. We don't know if they changed anything in the latest build, but we will check with Trackman.

            I did have that button in the previous version of TPS with e6 golf. After updating to the newest TPS version it is not there anymore. I checked e6 golf folder and they have a TrackingSystemConfigUtility.exe that changes a value in their config files to tell e6 golf to connect to the TrackMan. It does not need TPS to be open. E6 golf works just fine.

              I can also see in the TPS simulator log file that it actually tries to check for the software:

                Make sure the "SERVER" component which you normally start from the TGC Dashboard is NOT running. If its running stop it from the dashboard and close the dashboard.
                TPS should start this.

                  But how is TPS going to start it when I cannot start TGC from TPS? As you can see in the screenshot there is no button. (TPS v 5.1.85)Click image for larger version Name:	Capture.PNG Views:	1 Size:	569.4 KB ID:	125273

                    TPS should find TGC (like you see in the logs) and then enable that button from which TPS will start TGC. The button is not there, so something is wrong.
                    We have contacted Trackman. Can you check the logs again and see if it found TGC? All depends on TPS finding the TGC install.

                      Unless you can tell me another place for a log file the lines that I previously send you are the only output I found so far inside the logs. But I will look through some more log files.

                      I guess another question is. Do you guys have your own Trackman, downloaded TPS 5.1.85 and still have the sim button in TPS available?

                      Also wondering why you are going through TPS or have TPS launch TGC? At the end you can communicate with the TrackMan directly without needing TPS. The TrackMan has an API exposed that allows you to arm it, change settings, clubs and so on and sends all the club / ball data over a regular socket (TCP/IP).

                        No we don't have a Trackman. Can't afford it

                        This how Trackman devs in Denmark integrated it (and tested it), so we have to assume its ok.

                          So looking through all the logs, it looks like TPS is able to find TGC, because if TGC is not on the system the log file shows these lines:

                          2017-08-09 21:29:30.6835|1|INFO|TrackMan.Gui.CS.Modules.Simul ator.TheGolfClub.ProTeeClient|Looking for The Golf Club installation|
                          017-08-09 21:29:30.6835|1|INFO|TrackMan.Gui.CS.Modules.Simul ator.TheGolfClub.ProTeeClient|One or more registry entries was not found|

                          and if TGC is installed on the system, it shows the lines I previously shared:

                          017-08-10 08:59:15.9195|1|INFO|TrackMan.Gui.CS.Modules.Simul ator.TheGolfClub.ProTeeClient|Looking for The Golf Club installation|

                          I guess it does not log an acknowledgement it just does not log the registry entry was not found error?! (Assumption on my side).

                          Since a previous version of TPS showed the sim button and the most current version does not, I have to assume this might be a bug or a change they did not mention.

                            It shows the same in our logs. There is a file in the c:\programdata\trackman\trackman performance studio\ folder called TPS.config. When we remove it our button is gone. When we put it back our simulator button is back again and we can start TGC.

                            This is the content of the file TPS.config

                            <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
                            <configuration>
                            <appSettings>
                            <add key="KioskMode" value="True" />
                            </appSettings>
                            </configuration>

                            If you already have this file, then make a backup first.

                            As simple as that! That was it, THX! Works like a charm. Sorry had to immediately play a hole!!! I really like the looks of it so far. I wonder why TPS is not adding that file after it successfully found a sim software?

                            Putting didn't really work, but I also only tried it right now. Have not played around with it too much. One thing I noticed is that inside of TPS the club changes to 6 iron when you select the putter in TGC.

                            Any magical advice on how to to correctly setup putting with TM4 and TGC?
