Looks like they are in Japan and each course shares to names out of the 3 courses which makes me think they are intertwined like a 27 hole course anyway very narrow fairways but really nice

Dax sounds amazing, new courses every week? After watching the videos from the 2021 PGA Merchandise Show from Trackman, I am thoroughly impressed. Also, I see they are working to reduce the space requirments to 16' length, down from 20' length.
I just wish they would consider releasing a Course Designer that would let others design any course they wanted, and I don't see why they would not do that, as they must have one they use internally? Have you heard anything from Trackman on them releasing a Course Designer coming in the near future, or ever?

Brettster it has never come up. I suspect they want to control all of this internally as they want to maintain a certain degree of quality etc and likely have some proprietary things they may have now built into their software. They also have a number of designers on payroll.
for me I am ok with this, as like you said they are releasing new courses every month.
From my understanding, TM also charges a fee to build a course.
for me there are now more than enough courses to play and they all are very well designed right down to the buildings etc.

Cool Dax - that's great... Still, I would want to play any course, that I want to play in my area, and there would be thousands that TM will not have, and after reading this quote above your post:
That's outrageous! I don't think I'll be counting on TM releasing a designer any time soon, which frankly, stinks. Still, with Sim play and ball flight accuracy being that amazing, I'm going to keep it in the back of my mind.I heard Trackman charges about $15-$20k to publish a course

Not sure why it stinks, they likely paid a lot of money for the when they acquired the company a few years ago and want to keep things proprietary. There is also a very good solution that already exists in TGC2019.

I think like everything TM they want top quality and control (all their people are staff no outsourcing as I understand it). I think they send a team with drones to capture data etc. I’m guessing there is real cost (and profit) and they don’t want a half assed replication on their system. I’m guessing the course is buying this more than individual people (as if a person wants a course done I’d assume the course has to approve for a bunch of reasons).
