Trugolf does not list Protee as a simulator compatible. I thought we could use e6?

The graphics are not that great actually. They are improved over the original E6 but not as good as TGC.

We can. I have been using E6 1.6.

Looks like a good move for the e6. I agree it doesn't look as good as TGC, but their online capabilities may shorten that gap just a little. Nice work by Cory.

This. It looks ok to me, not great. If there's a multiplayer lobby I would try it.

Great question HW... Bubba22, is there a multiplayer lobby in there now? Seems like it would have to be there with all of the online capability and play they have been referring to.

There's no lobby within the game that I can see at the moment. Everything revolves around the website e6golfonline. This is where you can join a club house then join events. All past events have been either longest drives or closest to the pin contests. And they were all created by Trugolf. Don't see any user created events yet. Don't see any regular online course play events either. Also, there's no option for me to create an event. This is all still beta, but with 2 months to go before release, I don't see anything yet that would allow me to play a course online with a friend in turn by turn play.

                    Thanks Zmax... That's no good.

Personally I'm almost positive I'll be switching to E6 by next golf season in my business. TGC is great for personal use, but it's still missing too many features for commercial use. We'll see how much they add to it by next Fall. What's nice about E6, for me at least, is it seems it was designed with indoor golf centers in mind first. So it has a lot features that my customers ask for. I'm going to give E6 Cloud a try when it comes out and see how well that works for me. I know my customers will definitely want to compete in the online tournaments for real prizes.

If I only had a simulator in my home, though, I would stick with just TGC.

I would agree with that Richard. e6 seems to be more for indoor centers and TGC is great for at home users. The new e6 brochures posted on here recently were completly geared toward golf centers, not at home retail users. I suspect they'll both move toward blurring those lines in the distant future, but as it stands now I think you're spot on.

I just started having my customers use TGC the last couple days. I think all it mainly needs for me now is a practice mode like PP's. If it had a scramble mode already I'd probably have no reason to have E6. We'll see how it goes over the next couple weeks.
