Hi!
I've been looking at this forum for quite a while now, and finally decided to take the leap and go for TGC. I am building a simulator computer, but I am a bit on a budget. I do not need to play it at the extreme highest detail. It has too play fluently on a good detail level.
I allready bought a year old second hand GTX970. I think I am pretty good with that one, I am just looking arround for the rest of the system.
Is an I5 processor really the minimum required? Does TGC really benefit the 4 cores? I always heard that most of the games do not use all 4 cores. (I am not going to do anything else then play TGC on this system)
I am looking at a system like this :
- Intel Core i3-6100 Boxed. (2 cores at 3,7ghz and hyper threading, so can run 4 processes)
- ASRock H110M-HDS
- Crucial CT8G4DFD8213
- Samsung 750 Evo (retail) 250GB
- Corsair CX450M
- Sharkoon case
Total build cost would be arround 600euro's. So quite a bit less then most of the systems I saw here.
What do you guys think?
Thx!
