Thanks! I was searching for the tube clips and found limited ones. I ordered the bottom link. I will let you know how those work.
DIY Impact Screen Enclosure build guide - about $670 for a 16x9 enclosure with screen

I'm getting started soon to build my enclosure for a newly purchased sky-trak, and i have a question with regards to the build.... I'm thinking of getting an impact screen that has a pocket on all sides, so that would reduce the tension from the grommets or tarp straps like are used in this example. How I was thinking of going about it was running the top bar of the enclosure through one of the pockets, securing the sides (and adjusting tension) via straps like you did, and leaving the bottom loose, maybe even buying a screen that's a little longer than the height i have, and letting it lay on the floor... is this a terrible idea?
i'm thinking of a screen like this one...

Thanks for the awesome write up! I can’t wait to get mine finished!
One problem I found. I am not sure how I missed this. Following the plans exactly, I am one 4’ pole short.
10 poles, 3 stay at ten feet leaves 7 poles. 4 cut at 9 feet leaves 3 poles. 3 poles cut at 6’ leaves 3 poles at 4’. Although there is four 1 foot sections ...but then I would have had to order more connectors than listed which I think one more pole would be easier.
I am here putting this together and am amazed how I overlooked it many times, haha!

Thanks for this write up
. I found this blog post on google and also started looking for one in the forum's. I am going to try to see how i can build one thats like the https://www.allsportsystems.com/golf...s-microbay.php so that i have room between my wall and the hitting screen.

Going through the plan for my potential build and i had a question. I have limited space. I am right handed about 6' 2". At most my left foot can be about 7ft from the wall i am hitting towards. Ideally i would want about 2ft between the wall and the screen. So dont think i can hit into an enclosure. Thus looking into a setup like the all sports microbay.
Planning for a 10'W x 8' H x 2 setup. I was curious if people had any thoughts on the recessed setup like the all sports vs just mounting the screen in the front vs the back. Are there any pro's/cons i should be aware of. One benefit of the recesed setup is that it reduces the possiblity of hitting the side poles. How ever since i am so close to the screen hopefully its super rare that i hit the ball at the poles. I do plan on having some protection for the sides.
Still working on how i will get the projector to be setup. All this research is pretty exciting
, hopefully becomes a reality.
Edit:
Actually since I am now looking at building my my own ebclosure/bay I could actually make it just 1ft deep and give myself more room. Just need to do some research on what that means for how much sound I'll generate for neighbours.Last edited by amoney; 04-17-2020, 06:33 AM.
